I feel asleep that night in the kitchen. I awoke to Johnson gently shaking me awake. The first thought I had was why in the world was I sleeping on a table?

"You got breakfast duty. So make something good." Johnson was saying.

"What do I make?" I looked at the breakfast goods we had. "What have you guys not had yet?"

Johnson grinned. "Pancakes, scrambled eggs, and maple sausage."

I laughed. "You know I'm a wanna be chef don't you?"

"Yes I do. So I expect a grand meal." He slapped me on the back, and left to the common room.

I shook my head. "Food will be ready in fifteen minutes!"

As I cooked I though about what Angel said last night. My thoughts were put aside as I began to get really cooking. Using my powers, I lifted ingredient into the pans, and flipped the pans.

"Mmm, that smells good." Juliet said as she walked into the room. She nearly dodged several metal plates fly by.

"Yes it does." My concentration more on cooking, and sending plates, cups, and silverware to the table.

"Would you like to tell us what we are about to eat?" Esparonza asked.

"No, please leave. Both of you are slowing me down." I was almost done, but I needed my full attention on cooking. Not them.

"Fine." Juliet said.

"Don't want to hamper the time we eat." Juliet replied, before following Esparonza out.

I just shook my head. There talking nearly cost me two and a half minutes of productivity. I finished cooking, but left the burners on low and lids on top of the pans. To keep the food warm. I got out maple, and hickory syrup. Then I found a half gallon bottle of honey.

I put those syrups into the table. Then I poured the orange juice, and put the butter on the table.

"Foods ready! Come and get it!" As the last word left my mouth everyone rushed in.

"This looks spectacular!" Juliet said.

"Now can you tell us what's in it?" Esparonza kept eyeing the food.

Andrew looked like he died, and went to heaven. "Your cooking everything from now on!" He licked his lips.

"Okay, I will tell you what we have then we can eat." I brought over the food. As I placed the food on people's plates I said what it was. "Scrambled eggs made with: Milk, tomatoes, jalpinos, onions, garlic, a little lettuce, spanish smoked paprika, and seasoned salt. Maple sausage, and pancakes. You have your choice of adding butter, maple or hickory syrup, or honey. Now lets dig in!" Everyone waited until I was seated.

"Johnson, Andrew, and Genie. You are on clean up duty. I want this entire kitchen looking clean when I come back." I smiled.

They just nodded. I figured it was time to talk to Esparonza. First I needed to know where she was.

"She's in the library room." Angel said as she tugged my on my shirt. I'm glad she had that power of hers. "I think she's waiting for you."

"Thanks." I hurried on up to the library. I found Esparonza sitting next to a Courbet table. Where she sat was a tactical position. Easy to disappear from, hard to overhear on purpose.

"I need to talk to you." Esparonza said. "You may want to sit."

I stayed standing. "Agreed. Like why did you mind link with me? Where did you go? What are you keeping secret from me?" I sat down after sighing.
