Let's talk about Billy. (ง'̀-'́)ง═ ═ ═ ╰☆╮ ═ ═ ═

I think that he should never be the main love interest in any fan-fiction. He is an awful person and really shouldn't get the attention he does just because he is good looking. (And I know Dacre Montegry is hot) ↴
Personally, the only way I could ever sympathize with Billy in a story is from the perspective of a sibling/relative. They knew him before he was hardened and Broken and that's really how he should be written, not this 'mean love interest that's just hiding something' or 'fuckboi that's misunderstood'
Billy is a racist, abusive asshole and I stand by that. P E R I O D. There is a way to write him and it's not as a love interest-please.
That's not to say I didn't cry when he died- (ಥ﹏ಥ)
If you want a good look at how I think Billy should be written, there's a Robin Buckley fanfic called 'Bravado' which is from the perspective of Billy's full sister.
Kit, the main character loves Billy because she has to, he's her brother BUT she tells him when he's just downright wrong or being an ass. She also stands up for Max, as you should and there's a well-written sibling dynamic. That's how Billy should be written.
