The Hōseki system.
A majestic system of stars: six grand large stars in many colors, six smaller stars around those. A black hole, three small nebulae, and hundreds of planets and moons within the system.
In the center is the majestic purple star Hōseki. The only star of its kind, kept in checked by a network of thaumic satellites, the giant of a star gives off intense purple light, roasting the areas closest to it. The other stars are set up in near-perfect orbits around this central purple mass.
The system is not a natural creation, it is completely artificial. Planets and stars collected from across many universes, chosen because they were rich in resources, unique, or just plain cool.
Perhaps the most amazing thing about the Hōseki system is that it is able to transverse reality, step from one universe, one timeline, to another. Currently, it was trying to leave in a hurry.
And there was a teenager who appeared to be giving the orders. Black hair and big glasses, he was pointing around yelling. Behind him was a girl with ice-blue hair, looking around, seeming as if something had shaken her. They both had a golden sash hung around them that featured a golden oval symbol with a blue W on it.
A man ran up to the teenager. "TERRIBLY sorry... erm..."
"If you want to call me by title, use Wingding. Otherwise just call me Gabe okay? What is the delay?"
"The council is throwing a fit about preparing to leave."
Gabe sighed. He missed the days when Wingdings had complete power over the System, but the people had demanded that since the Wingdings couldn't die, there must be other leaders that represented the needs of the people. "I'll talk to them. Come on Kayz."
Kayz nodded, obviously preoccupied. Gabe shook his head sadly. She had just been through a lot. It was not his idea to force her to be here.
Gabe walked into the Council room. President Marlowe smiled. She was not human, she was a member of the Gari race. Her pale white skin contrasted with her bright yellow hair, hands, and feet. She was of course wearing presidential attire. "Welcome. Have a seat."
Gabe sat down, and prepared for the politics. "You do know we have to leave. The Evil Within is out and about. If we leave we may sever the connection between it and its host. And if not, at least we know it has to be in the system somewhere."
President Marlowe nodded. "I'm not the one disagreeing, I completely understand the danger of letting The Evil Within rampage on the loose. Let's just say tha-"
The Master of Trade threw his fist on the ground. "We had no warning! We were planning to stay within this timeline for another century! Businesses and economy will fall! It will result in a monetary disaste-“
“All you care about is profit. Also, may I remind you that it is your little ‘business deal’ that allowed the Ringmaster to escape confinement in the first place? I’m looking forward to elections next month. You aren’t going to be very popular.” Marlowe sat back, folded her hands, and smiled.
The Master of Trade shut up. Gabe smiled. Everyone else seemed to be fine with leaving. “Can we hurry it up President?”
Marlowe nodded. “Get to it.”

The Doctor twisted his sonic screwdriver like it was a real screwdriver.
“Doctor” Illumirrie muttered, her disembodied hand tapping a holopad. She was using her sixth finger to levitate a ball bearing. She was bored. “We all know you don’t actually need to TURN the screwdriver to make it work.”
