Our sponsors collected us the next day and they informed us that we had 30 days at Olympus for training before we would be sent on our quest. They were vague about the quest and refused to answer our questions about it, saying that the Gods of Olympus would answer more on our last day. We were all disappointed to not have clarity on our quest, but had no other choice but to agree.
We fell into a familiar routine during our training similar to our first day, the only difference being that breakfast was also delivered to our doors instead of hosted in the dining hall. When we reached the arena each morning, we would break off into pairs with each other and have the sponsors guide us through a series of exercises honing our fighting skills. They also taught us about various Greek monsters, warned we may encounter some of them on our quest.
Each day, after training, we brought our dinners to my house and recovered in the healing pool sharing our thoughts on the lessons and theories about our upcoming quest.
While I was skeptical of our team at first, primarily Horace and Hades, we formed a strong bond over the course of our training and even claimed a name for our group, "The Outcasts", making light of our exclusion from the Gods of Olympus and their trainees.
