Sighing I looked down at my wrist where a gold Rolex showed the time. 'Only 9:26 am. He better be here by 11.' Turning my attention back to the papers that sat in a tall stack upon my desk I continued to work. The soft morning glow lit the room up dimly, but enough for me to see what I was doing. About 30 minutes later I stood up and rubbed my temples in frustration. "I need coffee.."

Leaning against the counter sipping my coffee, I felt a little more relaxed, that is before I heard my front door slammed open. "What's up fucker?!" The loud and annoying voice of Devin rang throughout the house. I sighed once again, "Shut the hell up! I'm trying to enjoy my coffee." I moved from the counter and walked out of the kitchen into the living room where Devin jumped onto my couch and turned of my large flat screen tv. "Woah there buddy, what's got your panties in a twist?" He turned his head towards me with a smirk, "Are you upset that with me here you can't go fuck your fiancé?" I snorted, "Oh please, I'd fuck him infront of you if I wanted but I don't plan on actually having feelings for him."

"Cooooold blooded I tell you." He leaned his head back and let out a semi deep laugh. I cracked a small smile. "You know it. Anyways what are you doing here?"

Devin gasped and placed a hand over his heart as if he had been shot. "You whore, I can't believe you forgot that today is our workout day." I face palmed, "Of course. Let me finish my coffee and get into better clothes before starting." 'I'm a little glad he showed up, I really need to clear my mind.'

Finishing my coffee, I placed it in the sink and went to change into shorts and a white tank top that I knew I'd be taking off anyway. "You finally done?" Devin called out to me when I reached the bottom of the stairs. "Yeah, let's go loser." He followed me to my personal gym and we began to stretch in the middle of the floor.

"So tell me about this guy you're supposed to marry or some shit."

"His name is Kris and his parents are really good friends with mine, so my parents asked them to let me marry him. Not that I really had a choice, they said it would benefit me in the long run." I shrugged my shoulders.

"So he's rich too?" I nodded my head, "Yes, but he's not super rich like me."

"What else do you know about him?" I walked over to the stereo and turned it on in thought. "Not much, just that he's in collage and is younger than me by a year or two."

"He's moving in today, right?" We started to lift weights and continue talking when we could. I huffed out a breath of air finishing my reps, "Yeah, he should be here around 11." Grunting I put more weights on the equipment. "Excited?" I chuckled, "Not really."

We finished our work out and left the gym, I checked the time before pulling my tank top off and throwing it into a laundry bin. '10:58, he should be here any time then.' Devin and I walked back to the living room in a comfortable silence. We entered the living room, I was greeted by Kris running his fingers across the pictures that hung on the wall. I quietly walked up to him and grabbed his arm roughly. "What do you think your doing?" I growled into his ear and he stiffened. "Nothing." He quietly mumbled and ripped his arm out of my hand not turning around, just keeping his head low.

I stepped away from him and turned around walking back to Devin. "So that's Kris?" Devin asked me and I nodded my head. He grinned and waved at Kris. I still faced Devin but I could feel a certain pair of eyes roaming over my body. "Like what you see?" I asked turning around with a smirk. Kris scoffed and averted his eyes with a tinted red face. "No." Chuckling I covered my mouth with a closed fist. "Your face says otherwise." He snapped his eyes back to me, "Fuck off." He glared at me. "Feisty little thing, aren't cha?" Devin placed a arm on my shoulder, leaning on me. "Where is my room?" Kris ignored him and I shrugged off Devin's arm. "I'll show you. Devin you can leave or sit on the couch." Devin saluted and Kris nodded his head and followed me silently to his room.
