Chapter 7

~JACE POV~

*back to training with itachi*

"First part of ninja arts taijutsu." Itachi ran towards me head on. Damn I'm guessing he's surprising me! Of course I had no time to strategize. Probably best to use defense rather than offense right now.

I had to quickly block or dodge his attacks. Since he was doing it so fast I almost lost my balance a few times. Because of this I couldn't focus properly so he ended up punching me in the gut, which hurt like a bitch.

I quickly recovered and tried to lay a blow on him but he dodged it very quickly, jumping in the air and I tried to quickly get back to my balance but I ended up tripping to the floor. (Stupid I know but I can't make her op, plus she doesn't know a lot of skills yet) I rolled over quickly about to get up but he was already on top of me with his fist at my face.

"Good try, now it's time for kunai throwing." Itachi said in his usual emotionless tone of his. He got off of me and I got up, patting myself of the dirt that clung to my clothes.

He went to the box next to the trunk of the tree that was filled with kunai and other ninja weapons. He walked back to me and dropped some in my hands. "Try throwing it at the target." He said pointing at the red target circle and he backed away slightly from me.

I stared at the target for a few seconds. So all I have to do is hit the target, sounds easy enough. I started throwing each kunai carefully at the target. Only one hit the target the others just hit the tree.

I felt some excitement because of me being able to hit it. However I need make sure not to get to cocky, that's all all hero's fall.

I paused for a moment listening for the sound of movement. Kinda like what tops does, since she's blind she has to focus on her other senses.

I looked towards the direction of the sound and I see itachi walking to another post. He sat down, as he started to get comfortable he bought out a whole box of dango.

I was a bit shocked that my sensei for the week is just chilling on the post eating dango. Then again he probably just found some place to sit because me throwing kuani till I prefect my technique might take quite some time.

~A couple of hours later~

Nevermind it isn't so easy throwing kuani! Yet I have finally done it even though it took awhile, I have finally hit the target with all of the kunai's! I felt joy yet I felt exhausted.

So I flopped on the ground trying to catch my breath. Since I have been training for some hours I was sweating and my clothes were dirty.

Apparently itachi wanted me to clean myself up before I got introduced to every member. I'm guessing since tobi and deidara found me first, that sasori is dead because of sakura. So at least I know what part in the timeline I'm in.

~Small Timeskip~

Konan gave me a new set of clothes after I took a shower. So I'm currently heading back to itachi's room since I'm supposed to be introduced to everyone else.

"Let's go, time to meet the others" itachi said in his usual tone. He opened the door and I started to follow him, he then closed it behind me.

We started heading to the lounge area where everyone goes apparently in there spare time of they want to associate with each other. Which I'm guessing doesn't happen often, it seems gloomy here.

When I entered the lounge hall every member was there, well the ones still alive and they all looked in my direction.

Some showed the expression of confusion as to why is a random person in the base. And others seemed to question why I'm here. Everyone was here except for tobi, not sure why.

Pein spoke to gain everyone's attention. "This is jace, she will be a guest of the akatsuki. Each member will have a week with her. Each of you will train her and keep an eye on her. If she does anything suspicious feel free to kill her if need be."

Damn, everyone is now looking at me. I don't really like attention so I did the most logical thing. "So...anyone like jazz?" Some members just pain ignored my statement. However others didn't really, some actually acknowledged me.

The people that acknowledged me were hidan, deidara, and some time later on Tobi also acknowledged me. Deidara walked up to me and wrapped his arms around my shoulder and asked "so what type of art do you like."

And then I responded with "well art is made of different forms of what people find beautiful, so I guess I like all forms of art? I mean I like drawing but I haven't put much thought into it."

Jace paused and spoke up again "Some of my old friends used to draw, and some would use music as a art as well."

Hidan walked up also and then pushed deidara away from me. He then wrapped his arm around my shoulder. He also put his scythe next to the base of my throat. "I should use you as my next sacrifice to lord Jashin." He said drawing the scythe closer.

I take a gulp of saliva, slightly sweating from nervousness. "I would like to not die so early, thank you, especially by the likes of someone like you." I said as I touched the tip of his scythe pushing it away slightly as he screamed HEY at me.

Damn, I really don't wanna die so early. I haven't even met naruto or even met the creepy snake pedo that gave sasuke the curse hickey. I cringed slightly at the thought of orochimaru.

All of a sudden a loud giggly noise was heard. If my knowledge is correct that's Tobi, oh god tobi. Hidan was pushed away from me and then I see a masked figure that quickly hugged me while giggling.

"Tobi's glad, you get to stay! Tobi's happy!"  Tobi said in his joyful and cheery tone. He picked me up and then started to spin me around. 

Of course me not really liked being picked up by people for reasons, I started getting a bit sick.

"Tobi I'm gonna puke if you don't let me go." I said in a sickly tone. Tobi let me down quickly and started to panic. "Tobi is sorry. Tobi's a good boy!"

I started feeling better already because my stomach has settled down a bit. "No obi- Tobi is a good boy! Tobi isn't a bad boy." Damn I slipped up a bit, hopefully he didn't notice.

Tobi had a slight sudden expression for a quick second but he went back to his joyful self.

"Tobi wants to take Jace to play!" Tobi said while taking my hand and leading me off somewhere.
