'It's beautiful, isn't it?' Salem asked Wolf, looking out over the water.
'Yeah...yeah it is,' Wolf replied. However, he was talking about Salem, not the sunset.
The two sat there in silence, watching the sun go down over the trees, the sounds of the lake and the soothing rustle of leaves filling their ears. Eventually, the two lay down next to each other. Wolf turned his head to look at Salem. He smiled as she turned hers. Her brown eyes looked even more beautiful with the orange glow of the sunset slowly fading.
'I, uh,' stuttered Wolf
Salem rolled her eyes and giggled. She leaned in, and so did Wolf, and then their lips locked. Wolf smiled and the two moved away.
'Wow...thank you,' said Wolf.
Salem giggled again
'Don't thank me you idiot,' she said, and they both burst into laughter.
'Listen, there's this party tonight. I was wondering if you'd want to go with me?' Wolf asked Salem, 'considering I'm the new kid I still get invited to things.'
'Yes! Of course!' Salem replied smiling, she kissed Wolf again before getting up and grabbing her bag, 'well? Let's go!' She motioned for Wolf to follow. He grabbed his bike and they walked off.
