Noise complaint

Chapter 4.

On the way back to the hotel, all I thought about was seeing Kian. I couldn't wait for him to come see me at 4. He was all I thought about for the rest of the time that we were at Panera. I keep trying to play it cool because I don't want to get ahead of myself.

We pull into the parking lot at around 2:30. When I first walk into the building, I am greeted by a bunch of staff members in yellow polos. A few seemed to recongize me very well. They showed me where my meet and greet was going to take place. I had never done one just for myself at a youtube event so they showed how it would go, what would happen when the fans got up here. The basics of meet and greets.

I quickly run upstairs to freshen up myself. I restraiten my hair. Fix my clothes a little. I also grab my charger so I could charge my phone while the meet and greet was going on. I grab my small purse and walk out the door. Just as i'm leaving I see a well groomed jc appear infront of me.

"Oh hey!" Jc says as he shuts his door.

"Hi." I say with a wide smile.

"So your first Vidcon starts soon. Thats exciting, right?"

"Of course. I'm just nervous. I've never done a big meet and greet." I say starting to figit my fingers.

"You'll be fine. Its pretty easy." Jc starts to walk towards me and I join as we walk insync down the corridor to the elevator and he continues "Your fans will love seeing you. Once you get your first few fans all that worry will go away."

"Obviously you are pretty big on youtube." I say as we both step into the elevator "how is it? Having so many people recongize you everywhere you go?"

"Its still weird for me sometimes. When I'm at the store or something and a person randomly comes up to me like I've known them for years... its pretty weird." Jc says as he looks up when the elevator starts to move.

"But you enjoy it, right?" I ask while staring over at him.

"Of course! I love all my fans. They are basically family." He says while looking back at me.

"Thats what I always loved about you." I mumble looking straight at the elevator doors.

Jc gives me a confused face and small grin. "What do you mean?"

"I've been a fan of yours for years! I always loved how good you were to your fans. You loved all them so much. Even though we never officially talked you made me feel like I was the only girl in the world. All the o2l boys did." I stare back up at him who is side smiling at me.

Jc was honestly an amazing person. He was sweet, funny, and an all-round chill dude. He was everything I looked for in a best friend.

"Thanks." He says while smiling down at his hands. He raises his head back up and continues. "That means a lot. I never get real, genuine imput from fans."

"Come on bring it in!" Jc says as he opens his arms for an embrace.

I accept his hug. He was so warm and cuddly like a giant teddy bear. At this point I knew if anything did happen between Kian and I, I could always talk to Jc. Finally after what seemed to be the longest elevator ride ever finally got us to the 1st floor. As the door opens, Jc gestures for me to go first. He places his arm over the slot where the door comes out to close.

I step out to see a group of girls in high-waisted shorts, youtube shirts, and vidcon lanyards around their necks. After that all I hear are screams. They run into a circle around Jc. I wave to Jc wishing him luck. I don't know how he does it. I giggle to myself and hurry to the meet and greet area.

When I inform a staff member I was ready for the meet and greet and check my phone, It was 3:28. They make me wait till 3:30 then rush me out to my area. When I walk out from behind a curtain, I am amazed by the amount of people waiting in line. There had to be like 600. I get such a fear from all these people. Some were wearing so many funny costumes. All my fans looked absolutely beautiful.
