The man lying under Jin's blanket opened his eyes and blinked at Jimin.
When he saw who it was, he made a moue and sat up.
"Where is my boyfriend? What have you done with him?"
The man's tone was cold and it sent a shiver down Jimin's spine.
He wondered if everyone had miscalculated how this man would react when they decided to take Jin somewhere else after the show tonight.
Hoseok stepped out from behind Jimin, and gaped at the man in his hyung's bed.
"What are you doing here, Jungkook?" Hoseok hissed.
"I could ask you the same question, hyung."
The look in Jungkook's dark eyes was chilling.
He was fuming because his attempts at getting to his boyfriend after the show was repeatedly thwarted.
It had started with Yoongi who stayed next to Jin as they changed back into their regular clothes after the show ended.
The second oldest hyung even glared at Jungkook every time he approached them.
Then Sejin had walked with Jin as they went towards the exit, their heads close together as though deep in conversation.
And finally, Hoseok who had pushed him to go in a different van from Jin.
Later on the motorway, he had watched with wide eyes as Jin's van exited on a different slip road while the rest continued on their way to their apartment.
He had been shocked, but no one would tell him where the van was going when he asked.
When he called his boyfriend's mobile, it had gone straight to voicemail, thus increasing his frustration.
Unknown to both Jin and Jungkook, Jimin had confiscated his hyung's mobile and turned it off before putting it back in his bag.
Yoongi had instructed Jimin to do so because he wanted to teach Jungkook a lesson.
"Now I'll ask both of you one last time. Where is my boyfriend?"
"Move! All of you!" Sejin growled as he nudged Jimin aside.
Jungkook went numb when he saw that Jin was passed out on Sejin's back.
He quickly pulled the blanket off and jumped out of bed so he could help Sejin put Jin on the mattress.
As soon as Jin was lying flat on his back, Jungkook immediately sat next to him so he could examine him to make sure he was alright.
He reeled back when the strong odour of soju assailed his nostrils.
He turned around to glare at both Jimin and Hoseok.
"What the hell did you do to my boyfriend?! Why does he smell like the inside of a soju bottle?!"
"What does it matter to you what we did to him?" Jimin growled.
"Yeah," Hoseok agreed. "It's not like you cared what was happening with him earlier tonight."
"What the fuck are you talking about?! What happened with my Jin tonight?!"
"Oh please, Jungkook. Don't pretend that you don't know what you did," Jimin rolled his eyes.
"That's enough, boys. Let's go," Sejin interrupted as he pushed Jimin and Hoseok out of the room.
Before shutting the door behind him, Sejin turned to look at Jungkook.
There was a grim look on his face, and Jungkook knew that what his manager was about to say was serious and he needed to pay attention.
"I don't know why you did what you did tonight, but know that we are all disappointed with your behaviour. It wasn't fair to Jinnie, and it wasn't fair to the other members because you made them choose sides. This is how misunderstandings happen, and why most groups haven't lasted as long as you all have."
Jungkook stared at Sejin, eyes wide.
"Take care of Jinnie, and make hangover soup for him tomorrow. And think very carefully about how you're going to apologise to him so he doesn't break up with you."
"Wh-what?"
Sejin said nothing more and left the room.
The sound of the door closing sounded like a death knell to Jungkook.
He prayed that it wasn't for his relationship with Jin.
