It had been two months since the beginning of school and the endless drain of having to wake up get to class, see Jack, have Jack ignore you, and then go to your dorm crying had finally come to and end. At least you hoped so.

It was Thanksgiving break and since Father Blackwood was trying to appear nice because of the change in leaders, he set up a trip, a Thanksgiving field trip. When you couldn't think anything could get any worse your Dad had approved of you and Kate to go, and now you were shoved on a bus with a bunch of weird warlocks and witches who were only using the trip so they could have another excuse to fuck each other. Lupercalia had also been two months ago since the beginning of school, since what Jack said, since he broke up with you. You were trying not to think about him, but like he said everywhere you went and everywhere you looked he was there. He was right about one thing, it was impossible to get away from him when you were supposedly "destined to be together", although he didn't think the same anymore.

Kate has fallen asleep quickly, her head on your shoulder as you stared out the window thinking of Jack. Thinking about almost kissing him, but him stopping just as your lips were about to touch, the repeated ringing in your ears, "I can't."

Why can't you?!? You mean you know why he couldn't, he felt the pressure of your father and the rest of the world on his shoulders. He felt like his addiction issues were getting in the way of your happiness and he didn't want to drag you into it.

You had thought at the beginning of the year would be in it for the long haul, that he wouldn't leave your side, that nothing would change. You were quick to learn that you were wrong, very, very wrong.

You watched as you got further up into the hills, the more snow appeared, the more snow fell, and the colder your insides felt.

"Y/N?" Corbyn walked down the aisle of the bus in a puffy burgundy jacket.

"What's up, Corbs?" You turn to him, Kate's head shifting along with you.

"I got chills, bro. It's so fucking cold up here, I didn't know he'd take us this far... looks there's snow! I don't like snow!" He pouts, looking out the window.

"You'll live," you roll your eyes.

"Hey, I peaked over Blackwood's shoulder, it's me, you, Jonah, Daniel, Zach, Kate, and Jack...," he smiles excitedly.

"What do you mean?" You look over at him your eyebrows knitting together.

"We get bunks to ourselves, but they're like not even bunks I searched up the place online and everyone has like full on houses to themselves, they're so sick!" He jumps, looking out the window once more.

"Wait, we're all going to be under one roof?" He nods excitedly, "For a whole week?!"

He nods again, "Yes! Aren't you excited! It's going to be so fucking dope, there's a jacuzzi, and we can go hiking!"

"Why would I ever want to go hiking?" You look over at him slyly.

"Cause you love hiking?" He shrugs.

"I don't want to hike!" You say firmly.

"Alright, alright, but you comin' in the jacuzzi?" he whispers.

"Dude," Daniel says coming up behind Corbyn.

Corbyn turns around his face turning pink, "What?!"

"You know what, get your ass back to your seat, Corn-byn," he points behind him.

"Okay... okay," Corbyn lifts up his hands as if he was surrendering and squeezes past Daniel, walking back to the front of the bus.

"Anyway, Y/N, I have great things planned for this trip... wanna know something cool? It was my idea, I created this whole trip idea and got it cleared by the Father. Ugh, I'm so excited for everyone to enjoy this trip as much as I do," he nods affirmatively smiling and then turns back around walking down the bus aisle, pointing and yelling at people who were being too loud or inappropriate.
