and then our eyes met, his beautiful eyes hidden by his blackish hair. it felt like i was being lifted off the ground.. well because i was.
in reality i was sitting on the sidewalk, in the rain, crying my eyes out. i looked horrible, drenched clothes, wet hair and tears rolling down my face. "you alright?"
"uh, yea, yea." his voice kinda shocked me, i wasn't excepting that. i wiped my tears and the emptiness inside me was gone, already.
"..i can drive you home?"
"no, it's okay. i can walk." you said, not wanting to sound needy.
"alright. here's my number. call me if you happen to be sitting on the sidewalk in the pouring rain while crying." i gently laughed and got my phone out. "thank you."
