Castle

In my mind are many rooms;
Each room filled with my thoughts.
As my hands begin to work, a new door opens
Filling reality with the contents of those rooms.

The rooms are part of my mind,
But they are also a part of my castle.
A place that makes me feel safe.
A place that makes me happy.

I share my castle with others.
They smile, it makes me feel fulfilled.
The rooms are endless,
Walls taller than the sky.

When the time comes to an end,
These walls will crumble,
And what was not shared,
Will be lost to the world.

I rush to make the castle give all it can,
Before the clock stricks midnight,
I will see the smiling faces,
That have heard the melody of my castle.
