Sarah's POV
As the day dragged by, I was still thinking about the whole bus fiasco. "Is she going to do something to me at the party? Is she still my friend?" These thoughts dragged through my head the whole day. Soon, it was lunch. I got my luchbag and headed towards the cafeteria. I pulled out my Mickey Mouse lunchbox and went on my way. What? I still love Mickey and I'm proud of it. Then, Britney came up to me. "Hey BFF!" she said, like she was a innocent little girl. "Hi." I said, glumly. "Why the frown? I know you seriously cant wait for the party? Right?" "Sure." "Were going to have a BLAST." (AUTHOR'S NOTE: SEE WHAT I DID THERE?? IM AWESOME.) "Whatever." I said. "Just remember, we are birds of a feather, and what do birds of a feather do?" "Flock together." I said, bored. Then, she gave me a fake hug and went to go take her seat at her table. As I got my lunch money out to pay for my chocolate milk, Joel tapped me on my shoulder. "Hey, I was wondering if we could hang out, sometime. Just you and me." I thought WHOA, DUDE WE JUST TALKED ON THE BUS. DO YOU CONSIDER THAT A ROMANTIC ENCOUNTER? But, I said "Ok. How about the movies.This Saturday. We can watch that new comedy that just came out. I'll pay for popcorn." "Sounds cool, can't wait." Then , he went off. WAIT, DID I JUST GET ASKED OUT FROM THE ONE AND ONLY JOEL WILLIAMS? AAAAAACBJASBVDVUSNFNV UFJFBDUHGV. When I got to my table, Cindy said "OMG. Did Joel Williams just ask you out?" I nodded my head with excitement. Everyone stared at me for a short second, the sqealed. As the bell rang, I went to chemistry with excitement.
Cindy's POV
Ugh, I hate it that she is getting all the attention. I'd actually rather be with Sarah right now than Britney. It's like I'm being controlled by her. Then again, I did make that promise with her on the first day of school.. I'm actually really happy for Sarah and Joel. They would be a really cute couple, anyway.
