• KATE'S POV •

high school, isn't it a beautiful place?

i mean who doesn't love a place where you have to ask permission to go to the bathroom, have a ton of homework, being blame of stupid things and the people who are suppose to help you must of the time they walk away without sparing you a second glance, being forced to listen someone talk hour after hour and my personal favorite...

the people

i mean don't you just love people, i mean especially when they go run their mouths without caring of other people's feelings - oh aren't they the best

i mean don't get me wrong i like school, the people are the problems and before you ask, No i'm not bullied...

RING! RING!

i was cut out of my thoughts by the morning warning bell pointing out that we have 5 minutes to get to class

i was walking to my favorite class, history, well i'm not that good at it but it has my favorite teacher in the whole world

Miss Karen Lee, Miss Lee if she doesn't like you, Karen if she does

you can guess where am i

Karen was mine and Nat's counselor freshmen year, she was the best so since then she always finds a way of teaching us at least one class

sadly this year she teaches my history class but Nat's english class, so we don't have her together which is horrible because us 3 together are the best

but i guess she has to teach the class or something...

"Morning Miss Lee" i greeted my teacher Karen is just when we are alone so other students won't feel bad

"Morning Kate, how are you? i didn't saw you yesterday" she told me with a worried voice

she's always worrying about me she says that Nat and I are like the daughters she never had and she is like the mother i missed out on

she is an average height woman in her late 20s, she has dark hair and brown eyes and she's always smiling, and making you feel better

"i'm fine i had an appointment" as much as i love her i can't tell her the real reason - you'll understand later

"oh well take you seat and let's begin class" she said, the last part directed to the now full classroom

it was lunchtime and Nat decided to skip the rest of the week - damn her and her not having a responsable legal guardian (it's her 80 year old aunt that's sleeps all day, but she only has one year with her until she turn 18 so it wasn't really that important)

so thanks to my nonexistent sociable skills i have 1 close friend

... and some people who i sometimes go to when things like this happen

i'm currently walking to the cafeteria to get my lunch, course my brothers don't letting me eat outside
