One day.
Jukyung put a lot of thought about where they were going for this 'date'.
Is it a date though?
She was grateful that Dohwa volunteered had accepted spending time with her. After her declaration yesterday she thought a lot that night.
She just hoped that they're not going to be summoned for a scene. Everything's been pretty chill, since the writer has been focusing on Kyung and Danoh's relationship in Secret.
She visited Danoh in the hospital and said her goodbyes. Danoh hugged her real hard, and Jukyung hugged her back too. They never knew if they were going to see each other again.
She wished she was like Danoh.
She wished she could change her fate like Danoh did.
But she can't.
If she could, she wouldn't leave Korea. She wouldn't leave her friends...
She wouldn't leave Dohwa.
Now Jukyung's in class, actually not skipping. It was her final day. She would miss everything a lot. Their date was supposedly after school.
Dohwa was on her side, partly studying and partly sending her looks.
Jukyung looked out of the window and took the sunlight in. She was surely gonna miss this seat of hers. She took a marker out and wrote on her desk.
A folded paper flew out to her desk, surprising her. She looked to the culprit, Lee Dohwa. He replied with his iconic smile and turned to look back to his notes.
Jukyung smiled shyly and opened the note.
"What are you doing?"
She replied after thinking for a while. She folded the paper back and passed it to Dohwa. She then layed down in her desk and started to drift off, not seeing Dohwa's gaze.
She woke up just one period before lunch, skipped it, and went to the kitchen.
Jinmichae was cutting the green tea matcha cake when Jukyung came. They exchanged greetings, and while he prepared the matcha cake, Jukyung started preparing for her mint matcha tea.
After they were done, they sat at the table and conversed while they ate.
"I hope I'll see you again, Jinmichae." Jukyung said softly.
"I hope so too, Oh Jukyung." Jinmichae smiled.
"I will miss you and your matcha cake!"
"I will miss you skipping class to eat my matcha cake here too." At his reply, Jukyung pouted. She was about to leave the kitchen when she ran back and hugged Jinmichae.
Jinmichae was shocked at her suddenly hugging him, and he was at a loss for words.
"Thank you for letting me in your kitchen. I'm thankful for everything. If we never see each other again, I hope I'll meet you in my next life." Jukyung said as she hugged him.
Jinmichae returned the hug and patted her in the back.
"Good luck, Jukyung-ah."
Jukyung spent her time with Juda at lunch. Jukyung never asked Juda about Namju because she didn't want to meddle. It's her brother's life and love life, she's not gonna be the messenger between them like Danoh was.
Just before lunch ended she went to A3's headquarters to spend time with Kyung.
He made small talk about how he feels like he will see her again soon, and they listened to music while talking together. Jukyung laughed and told Kyung not to be an ass while she was gone.
Lunch ended and she went back to class.
She never thought Dohwa was suggesting they skip again, using the very same method on the very same teacher.
And they did.
They went around the school, just enjoying the breeze and walked silently until the 2nd lunch time, which Jukyung got into a scene where she was in the tennis court with Baek Kyung and Haru who were practicing.
A tennis ball dropped her way, and she took the ball to pass it to the one closest to her who was Haru.
What creeped her out is that scene Haru had a look of recognization on his face as he shyly took the ball and turned around, avoiding her.
"T-thanks..." He said. Scene Jukyung smiled back and went over to Kyung.
"Are you seriously leaving?" Kyung said as he wiped his sweat with a towel on the bench. His eyes wandered to Haru slightly who was standing a distance away from Jukyung.
"Yes. I don't know when I'm going to come back." Jukyung sighed.
"I'm sure you'll come back soon." Kyung assured.
"I hope so." Jukyung said as she motioned Kyung to lower down to her height so she can whisper in her ear.
"Get yourself together and take care of Danoh, you fool." She whispered and slapped his head playfully. Kyung blinked as Jukyung walked away.
Scene Haru made way for Jukyung to walk with a slight smile and Jukyung smiled back.
The scene ended and Jukyung sighed. She kept walking back to the school building to go to the music room, the place where she and Dohwa were going to go next.
She walked in and saw Dohwa who was sitting on the benches.
"Oh, you came. I thought you bailed on me." Dohwa laughed.
"No way, I keep my promises, you know?" Jukyung chuckled and Dohwa stood up, going to the piano.
"Wait, Dohwa." Jukyung held Dohwa's sleeve, halting him from walking to the piano.
"Eung?" He turned around and looked at her.
"I know that I'm going away tomorrow. It's hard ro say-- It's just... I-I like you. I like you!" Jukyung declared.
Dohwa smiled. "I know."
"And after a lot of thinking last night... I don't want us to be boyfriend and girlfriend..." She whispered, but Dohwa still heard it loud and clear.
"I like you. But I don't want our relationship to be labelled." She tried to explain herself.
"I understand, Jukyung-ah--"
"And also, I don't know wether I'll be written off from the story or continue as a side character until the story ends, but I think... I think--"

The scene changed. Jukyung was now in Paris along with Namju. She never hated the author more.
