xiv. fate of the destined

Jukyung and Haru walked silently to Danoh and Dohwa who were talking and joking freely. The two both halted.

"I am scared on what to come," Jukyung shivered. Haru gulped and nodded. They then walked closer and was greeted happily by both Danoh and Dohwa.

"Haru-ya!" Danoh smiled widely as she saw Haru.

"Jukyung-ah!" Dohwa smiled sweetly.

"Um..." both Haru and Jukyung contemplated on what to say.

"Hm? Why are your faces down? Did something happen?" Dohwa asked curiously as he got closer to the two who were avoiding their eyes.

"So... We just had a scene..." Jukyung started.

"Really? I didn't even know you two know each other in the scenes." Danoh said curiously.

"Me too... But I think the author decided to do something for a spin-off..." Jukyung sighed.

Dohwa and Danoh looked at each other in confusion.

"Haru and I... are going in a date." Jukyung sighed.

"What!?" Both Dohwa and Danoh shouted, earning the looks of other students.

"How did that--"

"We just had a scene, and scene Haru confessed to me asking for a date." Jukyung explained. She glared at Haru who turned all silent, avoiding the confrontation.

Danoh looked like she could faint, and Dohwa braced himself if said thing happened.

"When will this 'date' happen?" Dohwa asked.

"We don't know... Could be soon."

Danoh then suddenly looked like she had a vision. She gasped as she came back.

"I saw the storyboard, it's going to be this Saturday!" She informed.

"Are we going to change the scene?" Dohwa asked.

"Well, the only one who could do that was Haru," Danoh pointed to him, "But we should try doing something at all costs!"

"So, we are going to change their fates?" Dohwa confirmed.

"Yes, we need to try! Haru has changed my fate a lot of times, why can't we change theirs?" Danoh said confidently.

"If we are going to do so, then we need a plan." Jukyung said. They then discussed a few plans for the date on Saturday, until Jukyung suddenly got dragged in a scene.

She was with Baek Kyung, and they were in the school bridge, looking afar.

"Did you know that Haru asked me out on a date?" scene Jukyung asked scene Baek Kyung.

"Haru?"

"Your tennis teammate and classmate... Is there any other Haru in Seuli?"

"No, just him. Why did he ask you out?" scene Kyung asked curiously.

"I don't know, that's why I asked you." Jukyung rolled her eyes.

"Well, he's a nice guy so you'll be fine." scene Kyung said nonchalantly.

"Great..."

"Do you like someone else?" Kyung asked.

"I don't know... It's complicated." scene Jukyung answered.

and with that, the scene ended.

"Haru? Seriously?" Kyung scowled.
