Persephone:
"Dad couldn't find any other name than this stupid Greek Mythology one!" I huffed as Tobias sighed.
"Greek Mythology is one of the most important belief since it seems to contain all the values. Fun fact, it stemmed AR..." he said as I sighed putting on my earphones. He looked at me and then stopped talking. I relaxed into my seat.
The car parked around the same time as Ace got off the car.
"Brother," he said as he ran over to the car. Tobias smiled as he opened the door to ruffle his hair.
I looked at him and then got off.
"Persephone, stay with Ace while I get it parked," he said.
"He is a Junior... He can stay by himself," I said as I went to the main building.
I sat down on my desk. The talking stopped as people started gathering around me.
"Your gloss is so good!" one of them said.
"OMG I loved your Instagram profile!" said another.
I looked cross the room at the guy who sat with his hoodie pulled over his head. He must be new here or else he would be standing in front of me.
"Who's he?" I asked Harley my friend.
"He is new here... Came here alone in the morning.... Anyways, did you see Milo got hotter," she said.
"Why isn't he here?" I asked her.
"Milo? He is off to the Bahamas. He will return the day after tomorrow," she said.
"I am not asking about Milo... I meant him... Do you know his name?" I asked.
"No. He doesn't seem to be interested in hot Goss," she said.
"I guess we'll find out," I said as I got up.
I smiled as I walked over to him bending on his desk. His eyes continued remaining in his book.
"What is your name?" I asked.
He didn't reply as his eyes scanned the page.
"I think you didn't hear me... What is your name?" I asked.
He sighed and closed his book.
"You may leave now," he said. I looked at him.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"It implies 'Go away'" he said.
Tobias walked in after reporting for his Head Boy duties. His badge glistened with the Sun.
"Tobias got hotter," Stephenie said.
"Shut up," I said as she got quiet.
Tobias walked over to the rude boy and sat down.
He smiled as Tobias introduced himself.
"Dale... Do you consider yourself my friend?" I asked.
"Of course I do..." he replied as he smiled.
"Find out who he is. His enigma is buzzing me off," I said.
Dale nodded as I sat down and Harley asked the crowd to disperse.
I looked over at Tobias as he was talking to him.
Tobias said something as the boy turned to look at me. A smirk appeared on his face. I looked at him as he turned back towards Tobias.
Tobias seems to know him. Who is he?
He has a sense of pride that I am hellbound to shatter...
Tobias:
"Hello," I said as I settled down.
"Hello," he replied.
"Tobias Hansen, Head Boy," I introduced.
"Jasper Milton... Designation not specified," he said.
"You sound familiar... Did you go to the Literature camp for the adults two years ago in Chicago?" I asked.
"Yes. Tobias. I remember you," he said.
"Pleasure to meet you back again. It's good to have you in our school. In case of any problems, you can contact me. I will take the necessary actions," I said.
"I sure will." he said.
"It will be a pleasure" I said.
"Who is she?" he asked pointing at Persephone.
"She is Persephone. Persephone Hansen," I introduced.
"Hansen... Is she your sister?" he asked.
"She is my twin," I said.
"Then it's true what they say... Twins are opposites of each other," he said.
"I'm sorry what?" I asked him but he had already caught Persephone's eyes.
The class started as I went back into my books. Jasper was incredibly talented and good in studies.
"I hope you are coming to the party," Neil said.
"No can't do," I said.
"What party?" he asked.
"The Senior Soiree," I said.
"Oh," he replied.
"Is Persephone coming?" Neil asked.
"Nope. She isn't." I replied.
"Would you like to go?" I asked Jasper.
"Not really," he replied.
"Cool," I said as I followed him outside.
"Where is the library?" he asked.
"The top floor. Mostly unused... Next to the club room. There is a lot of noise so I won't recommend you to study there," I said.
"I shall leave. Thanks," Jasper said.
"Hmm," I nodded as I went to the Principal for the forms and the new clubs.
I removed my phone to find Mom's message.
"I shall be leaving now for Aunt's house. The keys are with Dad... Take care," I read.
I put my phone back in and went to the library.
Jasper sat there alone with his books open in the whole table. He read a sentence from here and another from there.
I joined him but he was focused in his books. Not wanting to disturb him, I started studying on another table.
I checked the time after half an hour. It was time to leave. I looked over to find the room empty. I smiled at my trait of being like my Mom.
I gathered my belongings and went back downstairs.
I found Persephone sitting with a guy who wasn't Milo. Was she dating Milo or Kai? Or this new guy?
Persephone looked at me for a moment before she kissed the new guy.
I looked away from her as she pushed the boy aside walking up to me.
"Are you going to snitch to Mom about me?" she asked.
"What should I snitch about? Also, Mom left for Aunt's house. I have to stay back for the duties... You'll need to take Ace with yourself back home." I said.
"Ugh!" she exhaled.
"Who was the boy you were kissing?" I asked.
"Why do you care?" she said as she huffed away.
