Another day over another day where I don't have one person who came in wanted to adopt Schrodinger.

He was an old man of a cat at a whopping 21 years old and he lived on the streets for 10 of them and then in and out of homes and shelters ever since. He's been at mine for a year now. He was left in a box on the day I first opened and well that's how he got his name. Lots of people look at him, say they feel bad for him and hope he finds his forever home but "don't have what it takes to look after such an old cat." It breaks my heart every time I hear it.

"Well I did say if no one took you home with them then I would, didn't I bud," I said as I looked into his cage. He looked up at me with big bulging eyes and meowed back at me. I fell in love with him ever since I picked him up out of his box. He was nothing but a ball of fluff and love. He even got along with my dog when I bring her here, they are both senior pets and they love to just cuddle up in my office when I need to do paperwork and couldn't bear the thought hearing someone turn him down again.

I sighed and opened his cage. "Time you got propper home fluffy butt" I laughed. "Donna will love to have a friend, let's see if she's ready to say goodbye to her doggy friends." I laugh as she purrs in my arms, something he doesn't really do much.

I smile at the massive compliment and head over to the senior dog area

I smile at the massive compliment and head over to the senior dog area. I decided to separate them as once dogs reach a certain age the noise of the over the energy of the younger pups, they still play with each other as the young energy seems to rub off on the seniors and well it's adorable.
