14) Gone

3rd POV

In the dark forest, is Dark Shadow, Tokoyami's quirk, out of control and destroy everything on it's way, whole Midoriya and Shoji are hiding, with Shoji carrying the injured classmate. Midoriya and Shoji talk out a plan to help Tokoyami get control over Dark Shadow, but there is one problem. They would need either fire or light to stop Dark Shadow, so this is where Midoriya smash two bird with one stone. 

''Sorry, Shoji-kun, I want to keep going, but I have an idea. If it will react to just sound, then make duplicates of your arms to use as bait and make Dark Shadow follow us. We will lead it towards Kacchan and Todoroki-kun. They can calm Dark Shadow down with an explosion or fire. If I have to choose one or the other... I want to save both of them.'' Explain Midoriya his plan. Shoji nodded and get ready to rund back the path of the courage test. Dark Shadow see them and follow them. ''There. I can see ice. They are in the middle of a fight.'' Pointed Midoriya out.

''Bakugou. Todoroki. One of you, please... Make some light.'' Shout Shoji while running away from the wild quirk. The villain that Bakugou and Todoroki has encounter, try to attack the two, but Dark Shadow stomp on him. Trapping him.

''Midoriya and Shoji... and Tokoyami?'' Ask Todoroki surprised at the huge Dark Shadow, that destroy some of his ice.

''Hurry up and make light. Tokoyami's out of control.'' Says one of Shoji's duplicated arm.

''Indiscriminate attacks, huh? All right, I will use my flames...'' Says Todoroki and lay down a class B student.

''Wait, idiot.'' Says Bakugou and stopped Todoroki. Dark Shadow notice the villain is alive, so it take him up and crash the villain into some trees. ''Look...''

''I haven't had enough fun.'' Says Dark Shadow, but that is where Bakugou and Todoroki counterattack. They light up right beside Tokoyami, so that Dark Shadow will weaken and get back inside of his host. Tokoyami knelled down, exhausted. 

''I am a bad match-up for you.'' Grumble Bakugou.

''Sorry... Thanks for saving me...'' Thanked Tokoyami.

''Tokoyami, are you all right?'' Ask Shoji worried to his friend. ''You did a good job doing, what we asked.'' Tokoyami remember Midoriya telling him to not fight back and let Dark Shadow chase them.

''Sorry, Shoji... You, too, Midoriya... I was immature... Annabelle-sensei was right... I let my anger take over and released Dark Shadow... The influence of the darkness and my anger spurred on that guy... In the end, it got so strong that I couldn't hold it back and ended up hurting Shoji.'' Explain Tokoyami and look down, ashamed for not controlling his quirk.

''We can leave that for later. That's what you would say, right?'' Says Shoji, making Tokoyami look up.

''Oh, right.'' Midoriya remember something. ''We confirmed that two of the villains targets is Kacchan and Annabelle-san.'' Inform Midoriya.

''Bakugo? Are they trying to kill him? Why?'' Ask Tokoyami confused. He was so into getting Dark Shadow under control, that he didn't hear the message.

''I don't know. Anyway, I think the camp is the safest place since there are two pros, Vlad King and Aizawa-sensei, are there.'' Says Midoriya, thinking of some plan.

''I see. So now our mission is to escort Bakugo there, huh?'' Understood Tokoyami.

''But at the clearing, the Pussycats are still fighting. Going back on the path would bring us to the attention of the villains, and we would lose time. We should cut straight across. Let's hope we may find Annabelle-san on the way.'' Explain Midoriya about his plan.

''Now that I think about it, did one of my duplicate hear Annabelle-sensei talking with a villain, and then suddenly went silent.'' Inform Shoji. That make them all worried.

''So they already have her?'' Conclude Tokoroki a little worried, but doesn't show it. Shoji doesn't say anything.

*Else where*

Uraraka and Asui has come in combat with the psycho girl, Toga. Her craziness is scaring the two girls. Uraraka manage to push her down like she learned in her internship with Gunhead. But, Toga used this change to stab a needle in Uraraka's tight, sucking some blood while Asui is trapped by her hair at a tree.

''Uraraka?'' Called Shoji. Asui notice the group and warn them about the danger by calling them.

''Shoji. Everyone, watch out.'' Toga hear her warning and push Uraraka away, jumping back into the forest.

''There are more people now and I don't want to be killed, so bye-bye.'' Mumble Toga. Then she noticed the beat up Midoriya and blush, then run away. Uraraka want to follow her, but she is injured and they don't know what Toga quirk is.

''Who was that woman just now?'' Ask Todoroki, caring a class B student on his back.

''A villain. A crazy one.'' Answered Asui.

''Uraraka-san, you are injured.'' Pointed Midoriya out. Uraraka nodded with a small smile.

''It's fine. I can still walk.'' Insure Uraraka. ''Anyway, you are the one that...''

''This isn't the time to stand around and talk. Let's go, quickly.'' Point out Shoji to get them to move forward.

''Anyway, I am just glad you are okay.'' Says Midoriya quietly. ''Come with us. Right now, we are protecting Kacchan as we head back to camp.''

''Keru? You are protecting Bakugou? Where is Bakugou?'' Ask Asui worried. The three look behind them and see both Bakugou and Tokoyami is gone.

''The boy you are talking about...'' An unfamiliar voice make them all look up to a tree. A villain is standing on a branch, wearing a mask. ''I took him with my quirk. This talent isn't someone who should be on the hero side. We will take him to a stage where he can shine more.'' Says the villain, Mr. Compress.

''Give him back.'' Yelled Midoriya.

''Give him back? That is a strange thing to say. And to thing you only asking for one of your friends when we already have the other one. Bakugou and Lorain doesn't belong to anyone. They are their own person, you egoist.'' Says Compress, but that won't stop Midoriya. Todoroki try to hit him with ice, but Compress jump away. ''We simply want to show him that the path he is on now with its fanatical values is not the only path he can take. And as for Lorain, are we just helping bringing her back to where she belong. Kids these days are made to choose their paths based on their values. Or what they were born to become.''

''It's not just Bakugou. Tokoyami is not here, either.'' Inform Shoji and look behind him again to notice the second missing comrade. Compressed then jump away towards the fire. Todoroki try again with bigger ice mountain, but Compress still dodge him. While chasing down Compress, figured Midoriya they won't make it unless they get some more speed, so Midoriya planned for him, Shojiand Todoroki to be weightless by Uraraka and then be swing by the help of Asui's tongue. The three make a direct hit on Compress and land on the ground, right in front of three villains. Twice, Toga and Dabi.

''Oi, oi, oi, I know these kids.'' Says Twice, but... ''Who are they.'' His second personality doesn't know. The three student didn't hesitate to fight the three villain, but as they thought they were going to win because Shoji took the marbles, showed Compressed his mouth, which contain the real marbles. The marbles with both Bakugou and Tokoyami, while those Shoji has is just ice. Compress almost walk through the prepared portal, when a laser hit his face, making him spit out the marbles. It was Aoyama hiding behind a bush. Shoji grabbed Tokoyami's marble, but Todoroki didn't grab Bakugou's marble in time, as Dabi came first. Dabi and Compress go through the portal after Compress release the two from the marbles, but Bakugou got taken by his neck and pulled along with them through the portal. They make him see his friends for the last time, before going through the portal.

''Kacchan.'' Yelled Midoriya for his friend.

''Don't come, Deku.'' Mumble Bakugou back and vanish with the Villain League.
