Angels x Demons (A Julian Jordan Fanfic)

Chapter 1: Morning

Kaitlyn's POV

"And in my mind, in my head, this is where we all came from, the dreams we have, the love we share, this is what we we're waiting for!" I yell at the top of my lungs, as I sing along with the massive crowd. All while searching for the perfect track to play next. The crowd cheers as the drop is about begin again, so I decide to change things up and use the drop from Wasting Moonlight by Sick Individuals; this just makes the crowd go even crazier. I see people carrying signs with my name along with the other djs' names on them. Confetti and lazers are coming from all directions. People pumping their fists in the air while in sync to the music. I wave my hand in the air along with the beat and start jumping. It's all too amazing and surreal. Just as I'm about to play the next track, a sudden BEEEP!BEEEP!BEEEP!...

Time: 6:35 am

Damn! I'm going to be late. I honestly can't believe I slept through three alarms. Rose is going to be pissed. I rush to the bathroom and brush my teeth. (I am so glad I showered the night before) I slip on a big, comfy beige sweater, put on my maroon leggings and finish it off with creme-colored, knit legwarmers and my black Uggs. And as for my hair, I put it up in the messiest bun I have ever seen and quickly run downstairs. I grab a muffin from the glass container set out on the kitchen counter and quickly make some coffee using my Keurig before I head out and get into my small, yellow car.

I reach Rose's house (which is more like a mansion) and see that she's standing in front of her gate like she's ready to kill someone. I roll down the windows and yell at her to get in. She's wearing a white long-sleeve crop top, a dusty-orange skater-skirt (which is a perfect fall color, imo), geometric tights, a pair of black Dr. Martens and her signature bow (which is a deep red today). Once she's in, she slaps my shoulder and scolds me for being late.

"I can't see why you can't drive yourself to school? Oh wait, I remember now, you don't have your driver's license," I say mockingly.

"Well, it isn't my fault my parents don't trust me," she answers.

"Maybe, you should stop going to so many parties where you end up getting drunk and nearly pass out."

"Its not my-"

"Or maybe you should just quit drinking, period," I say as I interrupt her. I honestly don't see the fun in drinking or doing drugs. I understand that you can get a high from doing it but in all honesty, I get my high from djing, it's like a rush or a feeling that I can't explain. It just makes me feel so alive, that's why I can never understand why people do drugs at raves. It's either be in it for the music or don't be in it at all. (With the exception of Peace Love Unity & Respect)

"Kaitlyn...Kaitlyn...Kaitlyn! Watch out!" Rose screams in panic as I take a sharp turn, just as we were about to hit a racing jet black...

Julian's Pov

"Thank you guys so much for having me here!" I yell into the mic as I go into the last track of my set. The crowd isn't as hyped, probably because it's almost five in the morning but I know this next track will definitely get them going. I switch onto my last song: Rockin, it's a collab I did with Twoloud. I'll admit I think the last drop is the best but then I remember that we decided to make the first two the same because it makes the last one so unexpected and wild. Of course, the crowd gets louder and starts cheering even more.

Finally, time's almost up and over ALL of the people, signs, lazers, etc. I see a shadow. It was a thick, eerie kind of shadow. It amazes me because it's just too far for me to possibly see from where I'm at. I snap back into reality, and just as the song is about to end...

Uggghhh...the suspense! Please let me know what you guys think. I'm hoping on getting two more chapters up depending on how well this chapter does. This is my first story, so I'm still trying to get the hang of things. Anywhoo...Have fun reading, lovelies! ~MusicLoveWriting~
