Something new.
I lazily scroll through my Twitter timeline, seeing what the couple of fans I have said about me. They've spotted me in LA already and I've just gotten here. Speculating what my business in America must be and they aren't that far off. Now, the announcement that I'll be on the show will be made today for some reason, I don't know if I remember correctly but when I was a Die-hard Harry Styles fan they made it clear he came on a week before. Maybe I'm a last-minute guest or something, I don't know.
I lock my phone turning my head to watch Ashlyn still sound asleep. The red numbers on the clock screaming at me, screaming that I should be getting out bed if I don't want to be late. After careful consideration, I hoist a spare pillow in the air, aiming for her head and throwing it at her with force, not a little, but a lot. Her eyes open wide in shock, and she looks a little disorientated but recovers when her eyes land on mine. I greet her with a smile, I love doing this to her.
"Why must you always wake me up with a heart attack," She whines. I can't help but laugh at her remark and sit upright. "We have to be down in forty minutes," I inform and in a swift motion she looks at the clock and heaves out another sigh.
"Not only could I have been sleeping for like thirty more minutes, but I also hate you."
I ignore her whines getting out of this comfortable bed and hop into the bathroom, leaving a whining Ashlyn alone.
(...) <-- Time skips, yay.
I step out of the bathroom, dressed and well. Half expecting Ashlyn to still be lying in bed, playing a game on her phone. But to my surprise, she's sitting on her bed, dressed and well, ready to leave. She looks up at me with raised eyebrows, "What are you so surprised for, I should be surprised," She states, standing up from her bed. Grabbing her phone from the bed, I do the same and with fifteen minutes to spare we make our way down. Kim should be proud of both of us.
The doors of the elevator open revealing my team of magnificent people. I would take as steaming hot cup of coffee right now, but judging from Kim's face we do not have time for that, at all. Ashlyn pushes out a sigh as she surely thought the same thing, but we follow Kim nonetheless. I'll have someone find a Starbucks when we're there. I do need my caffeine.
The minute I step out of the building, the camera flashes blind me. A couple stopping me asking me for a picture, and I gladly help them out. It's still weird to me that people want to take a picture with me, I didn't think I would get to this level as fast as I did and I'm still not sure how to really feel about it. I politely thank the girls before I'm ushered into the SUV waiting for me.
"That will forever be something I won't get used to," I say once I'm seated next to Ashlyn, who always yeets herself into any car when we have this kind of business. I guess she much rather takes the pictures than be on them.
(...) :)
We arrived at the studio, there's a hand full off people waiting for someone. Obviously not for me as they don't bat an eye when I walk past them. I haven't seen anyone else, as I am not informed about the other guests. Which is, now that I think about it, very strange. Ashlyn has a wild fantasy though and has been teasing me. Though I really love her wild imagination, the thing she's saying right now are downright dumb.
"Just imagine, you have no idea who the other guests are, You and James are quite close, it could really be them," She says as we walk into the dressing room we're assigned. Them being BTS, our favorite band, which I indeed made very clear to the man hosting this show. But they have tight schedules so I doubt they have time. Nevertheless, my mind wanders a bit.
