Survival From the Unknown

Waking Up

First, there was darkness...but yet a warmth covered your body the tickling feeling of grass blades against your soft pale skin. You groggily sit up to see the sun glaring into your eyes, you wince at the sight of the blinding sunlight and turn to see a tall shadowy man wearing a black and gray striped suit with spiky shoulder pads and a long sinister smile and skin so pale he could be mistaken for a vampire.

"Say pal you don't look so good." He stated with an unsettling grin "you should find some food before night comes."

With that, before you could say a thing he seemed to have phased into the shadows 'How?- what?- where did he go?..' you thought to yourself jolting up from confusion shaking it off for the time you looked around in hopes of finding a shelter nearby but no luck so you started walking hopefully you'd find a camp before it gets dark. Your heart sank but you looked closer to see a small thin line of smoke.

"A fire!" you gleefully said to yourself starting to walk towards the smoke.

After a few hours of walking and the fire only seemed inches bigger and it was starting to get dark you were about ready to bolt as fast as you could somewhere safe but something stopped you it was the sound of howling

"wolves..." you fearfully stated frozen in place you wanted to run! Hide! Fight! Something! But no, you were frozen in fear your feet planted in place.

The howling got louder and you started to hear the growling of hungry wolves and the thudding of their paws. And as if on queue out came three large black dogs all bearing their teeth, you tried to scream but nothing came out once it did it was too late the wolves tackled you to the ground, bitting down and gnawing on your flesh, within the chaos you hear the shouting of what sounded to be a man with what seemed the light of a torch and the large beasts growling and yelping then you blacked out.
