You wake up later in a tent the sun shining through the tent's opening you groan from the pain on your arm, leg, and side sigh perking up to the sound of the tent opening. You looked around suddenly a man emerged into the tent.

"Oh! You're awake!" he spoke softly while smiling.

I look down to see him holding a small tray of steamed carrots mashed berries drizzled with honey along with some ham as well. "I thought you might be hungry so I made you breakfast."

you get a good look at the man he's tall with a white shirt on top of it was a red and black striped vest, black pants, eyes that were so dark you couldn't get a good look at the color from this far his hair was a bizarre style in the shape of a 'W' he seemed to be dressed quite proper and he seemed friendly.

But the most questionable thing on his right arm, it wasn't really.... Human per se, it was shadowy and spiky you wanted to ask him how'd that happened or how he got it but you decided not to, who knows what he would do if you did.

"Oh t-thank you." you stutter out internally cursing your voice for failing you as he hands you the tray and you devour the food almost instantly due to you not having eaten anything since you got here which was only yesterday of course- wait, how long had you been out? You didn't have time to find food

. "Good to see you have an appetite," he noted, you nod in response swallowing the last bite of your breakfast

"How long had I been out?" you ask looking down at your now bandaged wounds, for some stupid reason you sit up and slide off the bed onto your feet, of course, you wince in pain due to the pressure of your body on your injured leg it starts to burn like hell causing you to sit back down on the bed.

"Careful!" he'd worriedly snap stopping mid-dash to catch you in case you fell. "And you answer your question you've only been out for a couple of hours.'

"Right, sorry." you'd sigh you didn't want to be here longer than you have been.

"Y/N," you announce to the stranger placing your hand in front of him to shake.

"Hm? Oh! Right, I'm Wilson" he smiled taking your hand into a firm shake.

"I apologize Miss/Mr. Y/N but I need to head out to collect some supplies hopefully find some spider glands to help your injuries, I'll be back, Chester, watch our guest, keep them safe, okay boy?"

Wilson looks down asking an odd dog-like creature with scaly, lizard-like paws, its eyes covered by its brown fuzzy fur with two horns protruding out of its fur, its body had a resemblance to a chest? The strange creature otherwise known as Chester responds with a yip, its small stub tail wagging excitedly.

"Good boy!" Wilson smiles, patting the strange dog as he disappears into the shadows of the woods.

As Chester sat on your lap sleeping, you were fidgeting with something you made out of some scrap metal laying around and you were quite entertained by it surprisingly, while you were absorbed in your trinket you didn't notice Wilson come back to the camp and enter the tent because you felt someone unwrapping your bandages causing you to yelp in pain, surprising Chester jolting him awake from his slumber.

You hissed as he rubbed the liquid from what you assumed to be a spider gland onto your wounds making a sizzling sound when coming in contact with your open skin making you clench your teeth.

"ouch!" You seethe "My apologies, but it'll sting a bit but that's the sign it's working." he replied continuing to treat the wounds.

After a few minutes of treating your wounds, he gets up noticing the little trinket you were so absorbed in.

"Hm? What's that?" he asked picking it up, examining the trinket "hmm? Oh, it's just a little thing I put together while you were gone to keep me occupied." You responded.

"You mind if I borrow this?" He asked holding the trinket up, inspecting it, "oh- uh- sure?" you sputter out confused on why he'd need such a useless tool.

He walked off sitting in front of an unfinished machine and going to work while you drifted off to sleep in your cot.

:~:

You awoke from your nap to see Chester asleep on your chest. You thought of your home, mostly your beloved cat Toast. God, you missed him, hopefully, he was surviving on his own.

"Oh! You're awake! Good!" Wilson smiled holding fresh bandages and a bowl possibly full of soup or water.

"Yeah, what's that?" you responded looking to the bowl.

"Hm? Ah, some water to clean up your wounds if they open up while I replace your bandages," he hummed sitting next to you as you sat up, removing the blanket to treat your wounds.
