Everyone was having a wonderful time meeting the new princess and enjoying themselves.
She was being proudly displayed by my brother, while I was speaking with a few council members.
Upon finishing a conversation with a member, I realize Meliodas was nowhere to be found.
As my anxiety increased, I left the party to try and locate him. In the ballroom main balcony, however, I noticed a strand of blonde hair.
A sigh of relief escaped my lips. In a graceful manner, I began walking towards the balcony.

I knew he heard me open the door based on his flinching.
The clatter of my heels on the hard floor echoed throughout the night. Upon reaching the ledge of the balcony where Meliodas was, I looked at him and asked "what's wrong, my love?".
With a shy smile, he looked up at the night sky, then back at me saying, "I don't know why, but for some reason, I have a bad feeling that something is about to happen". With a questioning look, I nodded in my head.
My first reaction was to say, "Well, we shouldn't worry about that right now, it couldn't be anything awful, could it?".
He looked directly at me before saying, "But what if it is and it threatens your life? I can't lose you now that I'm with you."
I hugged him tight as I leaned down and put my arms around his shoulders. In return, he embraced me much more tightly, as if he was actually afraid of losing me if he let go.
I whisper to him, "You won't lose me and I know it's true because I'll always be with you in your heart". I feel his grip loosening just a bit as he sighs, but he continues to hold on.
For a couple of minutes, we stood there like that until I said, "Let's dance?". I held his hand and started dancing with him.

A great crash was then heard near the sacred tree. We halted our dance and gazed at the tree. Before we knew it, we were running to the other side of the balcony.
As we were making our way through the sacred forest, we both caught sight of the sacred tree that had been set on fire.
My little brother and sister were crying outside beside us now as everyone was screaming.
What was happening was beyond my comprehension. Up until now, everything had been fine. Why was this happening?
My eyes met Meliodas as I said "take my brother and sister away from here as far as you can and help lead the people somewhere else as well!".
"I have to go to the sacred tree to see if the Fountain of Youth is okay." I turned toward the now burning tree.
Since my wings grew out of my back and I shot towards the tree, I didn't leave any room for argument.
The last thing I heard was this........... • • • • • "Y/N!!!!!".
