After cleaning up the dinner table, I looked over at Meliodas, asking eagerly, "would you like to take a walk now?".

The excitement in my eyes about going to the forest could be seen by Meliodas because when I asked him, he gave me a bright smile and led me to the door.
I looked back at Liz before we left and asked: "Well aren't you going to Liz?". As she stares at us, she says, "Go on without me, I plan on staying here and finally getting some peace and quiet from Meliodas' perverted actions.".
I laughed at her and told her that I would be leaving then. I couldn't contain my happiness any longer as Meliodas and I walked down the street to the forest.
As soon as I heard Meliodas's surprise yelp when I bolted away from him, I started sprinting through the forest and jumping along with the tree branches.

I could hear him chasing after me, but he was much slower than me. Then I jumped off one of the tree branches and was flying upside down with a smirk on my face saying, "Is that your attempt at catching me Meliodas~?".
Then, I heard him growl in the background while he raced toward me faster. However, I wasn't going to lose, so I turned around to hide behind a tree and hid under its branches until he came into view when he did he looked around confused.
Then he yelled: "Y/n?!, where are you! This isn't funny! Come out!".

All I could do was giggle from behind my hands when he still couldn't find me.
Continuing to sneakily jump from branch to branch, I got closer to him. After climbing up to the branch above him, I yelled out, "catch me!".
Before I hit the ground, two strong arms encircled me. Both of our bodies hit the ground with a loud thud.
With a cheeky smile, I tried to wriggle out from under Meliodas' grasp, but he only tightened it.
The stern look in his eye told me I was in trouble. "Why did you throw yourself out of the tree?! What if I didn't catch you?!" he asked.
Having pouted, I replied, "You would've caught me Meliodas without a doubt!". However, he just continued to lecture me more, so I gave him the deadliest weapon of them all...... • • • • • • • • • •

During the time I was using the puppy dog eyes, I had added slight crocodile tears as well, and that's when I had seen his face change when he looked at me.
It was clear he was trying to maintain a stern face, but every time he looked at me, he just couldn't. In response, he put his head into my neck and muttered, "Why do you all have to do that.....you know I can't stay mad when you use the puppy dog eyes!" I just giggled again and hugged him.
The two of us then lay on the grass, looking up at the sky, letting the beauty of nature be our entertainment. We quickly fell into a comfortable silence, staring up at the sky.
Nothing could have prepared us for what happened later that day.........
