Bonnie Hopps walked into the home she shared with her husband and 275 kids, to see that the older bunny was...troubled.

"Something wrong, Stu?" Bonnie asked.

Stu leaned back in the chair and asked her a question that confused the bunny," How common do you think the last name 'Wilde' is in Zootopia?"

"It cant be too common. Samantha is the only mammal I have ever met with the name. Why?"

Stu sighed," I was afraid of that. I got off the phone with Judy, and she was at that foxs house. I guess he was picking on her or something, because she said 'Nicholas Wilde, if you dont stop that imma drop you to the ground.'"

Bonnie put a hand over her face," Ypu dont think..."

Stu took his hat off and rubbed his head saying," We have to tell Samantha. See if shes ready to see him. I mean...she has been trying to avoid this mammal for three years, then by some power, the stars aligned and our daughter fell in love with him."

Bonnie nodded her head," I'll call her. She should be getting off at the bakery soon."

Stu nodded his head. All his life he heard that God worked in mysterious ways. Was this one of them?

"Samantha, what are you still doing here?" Gideon laughed," Your shift is over."

"I was getting these delivery forms ready for tomorrow, grump," the vixen chuckled," Something you should do more often."

"I see no need to."

Samantha shook her head with a smile," Whatever."

Samantha's phone then started ringing and she looked to see it was Bonnie," Bon, hey. What's up?"

"Samantha...I know this is short notice but when you get off at the bakery can you come by the house....me and Stu need to talk to you."

"Of course," the vixen responded," I'm leaving right now. I'll be there shortly."

Gideon raised a brow," What's going on?"

"Bonnie and Stu need to see me. It sounded pretty urgent."

"Ok, I can take care of the orders. Sense you seem to think I cant do it."

Samantha laughed, saying," I'll see how many mistakes you made in the morning."

With that, she walked out and to her car. She then made her way to the Hopps house. She wondered what they needed to see her about.

"Shes here," Bonnie said when she saw the car pull up," What should we do?"

"Well, we cant hesitate it too much or she will worry. We cant just tell her because I dont know how she would take it. I guess we just gotta wing it."

Bonnie nodded her head and heard the vixen knock on the door. Stu was the one who answered it," Young Lady, you know you do not have to knock. This door is always open for ypu."

"And a howdy doo to you too, Stu." (DR. SUESS IS SO SHOOK I FEEL THE GROUND SHAKING!!!!!!!!) "You and Bonnie needed to see me?"

"Indeed," Bonnie said,"Sit down."

Samantha sat down on the couch and Bonnie and Stu sat in the couch in front of her," Samantha, you know we would never keep anything from you, and we would never do anything to upset you...but we gotta tell you something about our daighter."

"What?" The vixen asked with a raises brow.

"Her boyfriends name is Nicholas Wilde," Bonnie said in an uneasy voice.

The vixens eyes went wide as she said," I cant believe this."

"Sweetheart," Bonnie started," We never pushed the subject of this, but in this situation...can you tell us what happened?"

Samantha sighed," The night Stu found me on the side of the road was the night my mother died. The day before that....her and my brother, Nick got into a fight."

FLASHBACK THREE YEARS AGO

Samantha was sitting on her bed watching TV when she heard the door open, signaling that his brother finally made it home from his daily job of hustling.

"How much did you steal today?" Her mother asked.

"Mom, dont start," Nick groaned," I didn't steal anything."

"You scammed poor mammals out of money, Nick. That is stealing."

"Do you have to do this tonight!?" Nicl yelled," Jesus, I asked to stay here for a couple of days, and you have been nonstop testing me because I have a job!"

"Being a criminal is not a job, Nick!" The older vixen argued," You need to cut this shit out. You are better than this!"

"There is no other way, mom!" Nick yelled," This is my ONE way of making money. This all I can get! The world wanted a fox, so dammit they got one!"

"And I had to lose my son for it! Did you think about how I felt about it!? Jesus, how could you be so selfish!"

"You're the one being selfish! I did this to help you!! You!! But you cant give me any credit for that!!"

Samantha then walked down the stairs and said," Will you two stop fighting!"

Nick glared at his sister and then his mother and said," When she realizes what the world is really like out there, she will fall in the same pit I did. Because the world turns it's back on foxes and none of us can do anything honorable enough for the perfect city!"

" Nick, I am tired of seeing you do this! I have felt with it for years, and I'm sick of it. I raised you better than this!"

"What are you going to do!?" Nick yelled," Call the cops!? Throw me out!? That seems like the type of shit you would do. Thinking you are such a fucking saint!"

" I never said that!"

" Well, if you cannot be grateful I am putting my freedom on the line for YOU then I'll do you the favor of leaving!! So you dont have to see your disappointment of a son make you look bad!!"

"Dammit, stop fighting!" Samantha yelled.

Nicl sighed as he looked his mother in the eye and said," I have done everything for you, and this is how you treat me? You hate me and I know it. And you know what? I think I might even hate you too!"

Nick then stormed out of the house, his mother sitting down at the kitchen table with her eyes full of tears.

PRESENT DAY

Stu looked down after hearing the story and said," Samantha...I know what your brother did was wrong, but he has changed. I mean, hes a cop for Zootopia for Christ Sake. If you dont want to see him, we will do everything in our lower to make sure that doesnt happen."

Samantha wiped a tear from her eye after reliving that memory and said," I have been running for three years. I cant keep running. I dont want to see him. Hell, I may kill him when I do, but if I never see him again, I may regret it in the future."

Bonnie nodded her head," That is true, dear. Ok, you go on home. I know you need some time to think."

Samantha nodded her head and exited the house.

"Oh, Stu," Bonnie said," This weekend is going to be a field day."
