Samatha & Nick

AN- the reason it took me so long to upload this is because I wrote the whole chapter, and because I forgot one little detail from the PREVIOUS chapter, I ended up screwing up the whole chapter so I had to delete it all and start over. Yeah. I'm a genious.

Samantha Wilde woke. up at her usual time, 6 o'clock, to get to the bakery and start getting the deliveries ready for the day. The vixen got up from her bed and started toward the bathroom where she got a shower and dressed in her uniform.

The vixen knew that Nick was at the Hopps house, and she was already second guessing the idea to see him face to face. The past was still eating her alive and she didnt want to relive it like she did many times before.

However, she knew it was something she had to do. So, with a heavy sigh, the vixen grabbed the keys to her car and house then headed to the Bakery.

Nicl woke up with a loud yawn and stretched over the couch. Yes, the furniture was extremely uncomfortable and he now had a large pain in his neck that he could only hope would go away before the day really starts.

He had to make a delivery for Stu. He was asked to go alone, which confused the fox, but he decided not to think much on it.

Nick got up from the couch and reached into his bag, grabbing his toothbrush, soap, a towel, and a change of clothes so he could take a shower. One problem...Nick didnt know his way around the large house.

Thankfully, Judy and her mom were already in the kitchen preparing for breakfast.

"Carrots," Nick said, walking to the bunny," Where can I take a shower here? This house is bigger than the ZPD, and i just know I'm gonna get lost if I try to find it myself."

Judy chuckled as she set a plate down," You dumb fox. This house is no where near as large as the ZPD."

"Easy for you to say. You grew up here."

"Just use the one in my room," Judy laughed," Up the stairs, down the hall, fourth door on the left."

"Thank you," Nicl said, turning around.

"You know," Bonnie said, stirring the grits in the pot," From what Samantha told us about how he used to be, I guess this fox has changed alot."

"Samantha?" Judy asked, looking confused.

It was then Bonnie realized she said too much, but she figured it was best for her to know now," You want to know why Stu is sending Nick to the bakery alone?"

"Well, it has been aching at my brain," Judy responded.

"The night your father took you to the academy, on his back back home, he saw a young vixen walking down the highway, alone. He brought her here and we helped her get back on her feet. She works with Gideon Now, and her name is Samantha Wilde."

Judy's eyes went wide," You mean?"

"Nicks sister," Bonnie finished," That's why Nick has to go alone. She thinks shes ready to face him again."

"Nick told me what happened with his mom and sister. I never would have thought, all this time, she'd be here."

"I hope he and her can work it out," Bonnie sighed," Samantha is a good kit. From the day Stu found her walking on the side of the road, we knew she was a good kit. She just needed some help. I just keep thinking that we should not have brought her here. I keep imagining that if she had went back to Zootopia, she and Nick wouldnt have drifted apart the way they did."

"Its not your fault, mom," Judy said," Sometimes, mammals need to have their space from eachother for a while. I think three years is a good amount of time."
