The small Italian crumpled to the ground as the group looked on in horror. Jason returned, helping a boy with golden wings and rainbow-tinted hair fly towards the group, before assessing the situation and dropping the winged boy and letting him be caught by a dark-haired girl on a chestnut Pegasus.
Jason dives down, grabbing Nico off of the ground and out of the small group of remaining skeletons.
Gently placing Nico on the ground, Jason watched as two of Nico's fingers began to slowly darken and flicker out of existence.
Will limped over from where he was dropped off, taking out a large amount of unicorn drought, nectar, and bandages.
Percy halted the bleeding around the wound, making sure that the blood could still circulate but not exit, before Will cut off the arrowhead.
Will pulled out the shaft of the arrow, freeing Nico's hand to fall onto the ground. Will picked up Nico's hand and had Percy clean Nico's hand well.
After making sure that the wound was clean if debris, Will took a bandage soaked in unicorn draught and placed it on the back on his hand.
He then poured diluted unicorn draught into the hole before putting another soaked bandage on the front of his hand.
Will then turned to Nico's leg, faced with a clean puncture wound. He repeated the actions he did to the hand wound before putting a piece of ambrosia in Nico's mouth and making him swallow it.
Will then began humming hymns to Apollo, which caused him to emit a golden glow through his hands, one that slowly spread to cover Nico's body.
When the glow extended to his hands, Nico let out a howling scream as the light touched his flickering wrist.
Will jumped back, but continued on as he spread the glow to other areas to avoid Nico's shadow hand.
Still screaming, the shadows around them twisting and changing as he writhed in is sleep.
Piper and Annabeth pinned Nico down, carefully pressing his upper arms and feet to the ground.
By the time that the glow reached Nico's feet, everything up to his elbow on his uninjured arm was flickering faster and faster.
The glow sank into Nico's skin, forcing his eyes to shoot open.
The flickering slowed, retreating back down towards his hand.
Will swayed on his feet before choosing to sit down in the dust and grab Nico's injured hand, which he unwrapped.
His hand had two holes, one on each side of his palm. They were close to the size of a silver dollar but they only went through layers of skin, with the red muscle visible on both sides.
Nico's leg looked similar as Will wrapped them both in bandages and sealed them against harmful bacteria using a haiku to Apollo.
Just after he was finished, Will was picked up by Jason, while Annabeth gingerly picked up Nico who was quietly protesting.
Piper and Hazel got on Frank the Pegasus, waving as they dropped beneath the ground and headed towards Camp Half-Blood.
Percy and Annabeth stood back to back, each holding an unconscious teenager who was slowly changing colors, before they disappeared from where they stood.
