"Y/N's New Friend"

{Still Y/N's POV}
~The next morning when I woke up, I took a quick shower before getting myself dressed up. I then left my house and a few minutes later, arrived at school. I headed for my first class of the day, chemistry. I still had some time before the class actually started so I just sat against the wall outside of the class and started listening to music, when suddenly someone sat beside me.~
???: Hi there! Y/N isn't it?
Y/N: Yes that's me, and you are...??
Darius: I'm Darius, nice to meet you. ~He smiled widely.~
Y/N: Yeah, nice to meet you too.
~I said, returning a smile.~
Darius: So, do you have your first class here?
~I nodded.~
Darius: Nice, me too.
~Loud footsteps then interrupted us. I lifted my head up. Our teacher had arrived, she unlocked the class door and students started coming in.~
Darius: Let's continue talking later.
~He entered the class and sat beside another guy, who seemed to be his friend.~
Juno: Hey!
~I turned back around.~
Y/N: Oh you're here?
Juno: Yeah, sorry I'm a bit late.
~We came in class and sat next to each other. Thankfully our teacher was nice. When she dismissed the class, Darius came up to me once again...~
Darius: Hey.
~He smiled.~
Y/N: Hey.
Darius: I like this teacher, she explains her subject very well.
Y/N: Yeah me too, she's much better than Mr.Min.
~Darius let out a chuckle by my comment.~
Darius: Yeah, Mr.Min is kind of rude.
~I laughed. I wasn't the only one thinking about him like that after all. We talked while walking together in the corridor.~
Darius: So...you're new here, right?
Y/N: Yes. I honestly came here because of how famous this school is about educating its students well. And so far, I agree with those rumors.
Darius: Well you're going to love it here, trust me!
Y/N: Okay! I will.
~I smiled~
Juno: Y/N!!
~A voice interrupted us as Darius and I both turned around.~
Juno: So I see you met Darius.
~She said to me, panting after running to catch up with us.~
Y/N: Yes, we were just talking a bit.
~Darius took a look at his watch.~
Darius: Juno, Y/N, we should go to class now, we're kind of late...
~When we saw the time as well, we gasped and all started running as fast as we could to reach our classrooms...Of course, mine and Juno's class was Math... And Mr.Min, who was sitting behind his desk while writing something looked at us and definitely did not seem happy at all...~
Yoongi: Why are you two late?
~He said in a clearly annoyed tone...~
Juno: We were uhm...
Y/N: To our lockers. ~I said without any hesitation.~
Yoongi: Your lockers? ~He raised an eyebrow in a dubious manner.~
Juno: And Y/N is on her period. ~She added. It felt like my heart just exploded in my chest. "Why the fu** did she say that! It's not even true!" I blushed so hard, I probably looked like a tomato. For a second I saw our teacher let out a little smile but it was probably my imagination playing with me.~
Yoongi: Okay, take a seat now. I'll let you both get away with it this time.
~I was glad that he showed mercy, we took our seats as he started his lesson...Every minute I checked the time because his class always seemed like an eternity...When the bell rang he spoke up again...~
Yoongi: Alright, so your homework for our next lesson will be completing from pages 47 to 49 all the exercises and hand in your notebooks for me to check your notes. Class dismissed.
~We were going to walk away, but an unpleasant surprise was waiting for me...~
Yoongi: Apart from you Mrs.Y/N...
"Oh, no!"  ~I thought. I slowly turned around, facing the teacher who was leaning on his desk, staring at me. I unwillingly came closer to him to hear what he had to say.~
Yoongi: I see you have difficulties in understanding my lessons Mrs.Y/N.
~I nodded. He then made a dramatic pose, making me a bit uncomfortable.~
Yoongi: I can see your lack of competence.
~He said suddenly.~
Yoongi: Do you work on maths at home?
Y/N: A bit...
Yoongi: Well then work harder! I don't want any students left behind in my class. I hope to see you putting more efforts in my lessons.
Y/N: I will Mr.Min.
Yoongi: Good, you can go now.
~He then let me go. I left the class awkwardly as I was also extremely mad by just how rude he was...Sometimes I even wonder why this school hired him... "To ruin its career?" I thought... When my last lesson before lunch time ended, Juno and I went to eat at the cafeteria. We talked and got to know each other even better, but for the whole time, this one question couldn't leave my mind. "What if I don't get better at maths?"...Juno could see I was puzzled and so she asked...~
Juno: Hey, are you alright? Something seems to be in your mind, bothering you...
Y/N: When Mr.Min called me after class, he told me I should work harder at maths and that he didn't want any students left behind in his class, but I am really bad at them... I don't think that I will ever be as good as the other students, even if I work hard... ~I said while pouting. But Juno was supportive and hugged me.~
Juno: Ah don't mind it girl, I know you'll do perfect one day! You don't need to worry so much about it!
~She poked my cheeks...~
Juno: Now since it's Friday, would you like to go to my house for a sleepover??
Y/N: Sure! ~I smiled, already feeling comforted by her.~
Juno: Cool, I promise it's gonna be fun!
~The rest of the day went off quickly. While Juno and I were walking, we met Darius with the other guy he was sitting next to in chemistry.
Darius: Hey. ~He waved his hand to us.~
Juno and Y/N: Hey!
Darius: So, how is it going?
Y/N: Oh, just fine. ~I said, glancing at the other unknown guy.
???: Hi, my name is Kyle. ~He said to me.~
Y/N: Hi, I'm Y/N.
Kyle: So you're the new student?
Y/N: Yes, we can say that.
Kyle: So Y/N...I heard that your Maths teacher is Mr.Min right?
Y/N: Yes...I absolutely hate him! He's just so cold!
Kyle: Well...He wasn't always like that, trust me on this...
Y/N: How could you know?
Kyle: Because...he's my half brother Y/N...
~I gasped and looked at him,my eyes wide open...~
Y/N: Are you...s-serious??
Kyle: Yes, and Mr.Min's first name is Yoongi...he really wasn't a cold-hearted person all his life...He just had a traumatizing childhood...
Y/N: Can we perhaps...Hear it?
Kyle: Sure...so when Yoongi turned 6 years old our father left his mother and went with another woman who gave birth to me...His mom was very depressed about that and so was he...He'd hate me for having the perfect life and full attention of our dad...So now that he has got the job here in this school, sometimes he loses control of his emotions and becomes angry...But it's because he was never capable to ask for support by his depressed mother...
~He sighed...~
Y/N: Wow, I would have ever imagined all of this.
~I suddenly felt some kind of sympathy towards our teacher.~
Juno: But do you ever talk to Mr.Min -I mean Yoongi?
~Kyle shook his head.~
Kyle: Nah, he definitely hates me and always acts like I don't exist.
Y/N: That's sad...
~Kyle shrugged his shoulders.~
Kyle: No it's ok, we're probably better off like this.
~He lowered his voice.I knew he wasn't telling the truth about his feelings, but I said nothing.~
Darius: Kyle, we should go if we don't want to miss the bus.
~He showed the time on his phone.~
Kyle: Yes, of course.
~The two boys started walking away.~
Y/N: Hey Kyle!
~He stopped and turned his head towards me in a questioning manner.~
Y/N: Thank you for telling us this.
Kyle: Yeah no problem, despite everything Mr.Min is still my brother, I don't want people hating him before even knowing his backstory.
~They then left, leaving me and Juno alone.~
Y/N: Wow...I would have ever imagined all of this Juno...Who knew how much Yoo- I mean Mr.Min went through...
Juno: Yeah, he had a really tough childhood... And he has a half-brother in our year... This is too much of a revelation!
~She let out a nervous laugh.~
Juno:Anyway, lets go to my house now! ~She said after a moment. My friend took me by the arm and we started walking, her leading the way. When we reached her house we thought of doing all of our homework so when we finished, we could do anything we wanted...And we girls were naughty so...We'd have a very amazing time I thought..So Juno and I took all of our homework out, which was mostly Math. Juno helped me but I still had difficulties to understand the lesson, so doing our homework took much longer than expected. When we had finally finished, I almost threw all my school stuff in the air, I was so happy.

Juno smiled and then we started playing like small kids...We talked all night watched some Netflix and talked a lot.It had been a long time since I had this much fun! The next morning, we woke up early and got ready for school. While we were walking though, we saw Mr.Min who was also heading to school. At first we didn't pay it much attention but soon we heard quiet sniffing as he fastened his pace...~
Y/N: Juno...
~I whispered.~
Y/N:Is it me or is Mr.Min crying?
~I see my friend stare at our teacher who was already distancing us.~
Juno: Yeah I think so...
~I looked at her confused.~
Y/N: Why would our teacher be crying?
Juno: I don't know Y/N, I don't know...
~When we arrived at school, Mr.Min had disappeared. The school bell rang, so we went to class. We had Literature and we were extremely bored...Time was passing so slowly we just couldn't stop staring at the clock on the wall...When our suffering ended, we had a new one incoming...Math...When Mr.Min showed up and heard students talking and doing silly stuff, he didn't shout like he always did...He instead sat on a chair and opened his books on he's desk...~
Mr.Min: Class, let's check the homework I gave you from pages 89-90.
~He said calmly, but it was clear something was bothering him. Both me and Juno heard sadness in his voice...We corrected the homework on the board and started new exercises, but for the whole lesson Mr.Min just looked down on his books. I didn't have the courage to ask him about it. Plus, it was none of my business..But still, I couldn't stop thinking about it. At the end of school, I just couldn't hold my curiosity any longer as I was already hesitantly standing right in front of him...~
Mr.Min: Do you need something Mrs.Y/N?
Y/N: Hum.. Well, Is there anything wrong?
Yoongi: What do you mean?
Y/N: You looked sad today, so.. Did anything happen ?
~He looked at me surprised.~
Yoongi: I.. Hum, why would care? ~He looked away.~
Y/N: I'm just curious, and if I can do anything...
~He looked confused for a second, it was the first time a student asked him how he was feeling~
Yoongi: Well it's just that...
~He cleared his troat and his expression suddenly changed.~
Yoongi: Nothing's wrong Y/N, you shouldn't ask this to your teacher. ~He said firmly,almost looking angry.~
Y/N: I...
Yoongi: Just mind your own business!
~His lips curved in a bitter expression before he walked away at a fast pace. I was confused and didn't know what I was thinking, but I chased after him and grabbed his wrist...~
Y/N: Wait! Don't go! Please tell me!
~I said panting from the running...He looked at me with his red puffy eyes...~
Yoongi: It's none of your business, just leave me alone!
Y/N: No, I...
Yoongi: Do you want me to call your parents?
~I suddenly felt a drop falling on me, then an other one...The sky was filled with dark clouds and it soon started to rain, but I didn't care and screamed to my teacher who was walking away again.~
Y/N: Yoongi, please!
~Mr.Min swiftly turned around.~
Yoongi: What did you say?
~He looked at me weirdly.~
Y/N: Hum...
Yoongi: How do you know my name?
~He came closer, dominating me with his height.~
Y/N: Your brother told me...
~I said in a low voice, already regretting my words.He frowned in disgust.~
Yoongi: I don't have a brother...
~He then turned around and hopped on a bus which had just arrived, leaving me alone on the side of the street, soaking wet from the rain. I just stayed like that, not willing to move...I had already started sneezing a lot when I saw someone's shadow...I looked up and saw someone familiar,protecting me from the rain with an umbrella...~
Y/N:D-Darius...?
