"Hello Sir, There is a courier for you here."

"Ok. I am sending you the address, send it here."

Ending the call Arnav entered the house, it was his check up day. Plaster would be removed in next 7 days. Though he was adamant on going alone, still Buaji did not let him do that and accompany with him. On their way back to home, due to some work she stopped by market and Arnav returned home from there.

Locking the door he started moving towards the room where he was staying when his eyes fell on Sashi Gupta who was trying to get something from the locker of the cupboard but it was a tough task for him. Thinking for a moment Arnav stepped towards that room..

"Can I help??"

Sashi Gupta took his hand back and smiled a little in return nodding his head.

"I need that red file in locker, Can you please get me that Damadji??"

Arnav could not helped but just shook his head at the address "Damadji." It was true like he was trying to restrict Buaji Or Garima Gupta, he had never said NO to Sashi Gupta for anything and may be because of this gentle man has never stepped back from addressing him with same name.. As if giving him a timely recalling that the relationship between them has a stamp with forever mark..

Giving that file to him, Arnav was about to leave but something caught his eyes especially the name written over on one of the certificate Arnav found in locker. He took that in his hand.

"Name- Payal Gupta

Date of birth-*******

Father's name- Sashi Gupta

Mother's Name- Mahima Gupta."

He reread the document once again not understanding why Garima Gupta was not written there. But again thinking, it was there personal matter and he should not invade their privacy he was about to keep that back when heard..

"What happened Damadji??"

"Err.. Why is written Mahima Gupta as Payal's mother's name??"

Sashi Gupta looked down, Arnav opened his lips understanding the situation..

"I am sorry.. It's ok, you carry on. I have some other work actually.."

Keeping the document back, he was about to leave but Sashi Gupta stopped him. Being a Son-in-law in the family and more over Sashi knew he as well as his wife do consider this young man more than just as their daughter's husband.

Sashi Gupta's respect for Arnav Singh Raizada actually increased more on their tearful wedding night 7 months back.. Yes, anyone if were in his position would not have from stepping back considering Arnav wrong. But Sashi Gupta choose not to do that, he believed the place of Ratna Malick was acquainted in his life much before than Khushi.. Arnav can not deny the fact that He is a Son before being a Husband.. Not like others, it might be difficult for Arnav to let go of his past, to think of his happy life ahead forgetting his mother, planning to have family giving a back seat to horror past... Arnav did nothing among these..

And why??

The answer was still the same.. His mother carries the same place in his life even though she was not there beside him physically..

But that did not mean, Arnav hurt his present for his past or look away from the responsibility as well..

Sashi Gupta did know, some cracks were developed between his daughter and her husband.. But none should expect them to forget everything in just blink of eyes. time can heal anything, before blaming either of these two people none was there on their shoes.. None could understand that inner fight, these two were fighting all these days..
