Life and Death

A month later
Airi POV
I was running through campus. A bag in my hands. Everyone got out of my way. I reach the destination. I open the door
"I got the snacks. What did I miss?" I say
"The stupid girl went on the camping trip and at night she got kidnapped"Colin says
I go around the group and give everyone what they wanted. All of them were on the couch. Rose was at the edge with her legs on Finn, Colin was staying normal on the couch, steph had her legs on the table and Logan was at the other edge where the couch is longer.
"Thanks Airi" they each say when they receive the snacks
I sit down next to Logan with my legs on the longer part while we share popcorn.
"I don't understand why there is an obvious lack of redheads" Finn says disappointed
"Because all of the redheads are scared to show up when you're around"Logan says
"What about Rose? She's a redhead and she's around when I am"Finn continues to complain
"Because I'm used to you"Rose says
"So was it hard for you to carry all the snacks on your own?"Steph asks me
"Well yeah. You all are too lazy to help me" I say
"You're the one who is athletic"Rose says as she points at me
"Of corse I am, because YOU keep eating snacks"I retort
"I'm just getting more resources for when I start sports"Rose says
"Ok ok it explains why you two girls didn't help me, but the guys. What's your excuse?"I ask
"Well...."they say not having one
"So you're even lazier than the girls. And you three even go to the gym. I'm disappointed"I say faking a pout
"We're sorry but someone had to watch them while you're away" Logan says as he puts an arm around my shoulders
"Fine I forgive you all but next time you're gonna pay" I say

After the movie ended, me, Rose and Steph went back to our dorm.
"So you and Logan?"Rose asks
"What's up with you two?"Steph adds
"There's nothing going on with us"
"I don't believe it. He seems different" Rose says
"Hows that?"I ask genuinely curious
"He has a nickname for you, flirts with you and just now he put his arm around you"Steph says
"Are you two having sex?"Rose says
"WHAT? No. We're not doing that. He kissed me once but that's it"
"HE KISSED YOU?"the girls yell
"Well yeah but that's before we started being friends. I'm sure he kissed you at one point"
"Nope"Steph says
"Never"Rose says
"Then we'll see"
"Do you like him?"asked Rose
"Yeah.." I says sheepishly
"Tell him"said Steph
"I can't. I'll get rejected and our friendship is ruined. Plus he doesn't do commitment. I do. Let's just forget this for now"
"Alright"they say

We get to our dorm and I go into my room. I see an envelope on my bed. I open it and it's the invitation to the LDB event. It says to be ready for leaving tomorrow morning. I open the door into the living room.
"Should I pack casual clothes?"I ask
"Your outfit will be ready for you there. But get some casual ones"Steph says
"Thanks"I say
It seems that I'll be a new member soon enough.

The next morning
"Airi are you ready to go?"Rose asks
"Yup"
"Good. Steph is waiting for the guys in the parking lot. Let's go"
We leave the dorm room and head for the parking lot. There are the guys and Steph.
"Morning people"I say
"Morning. We should go"Colin says
We get in the car. Finn with Rose in the front, me and Logan in the middle and Steph and Colin in the back.
"So how long is the drive?"I ask
"Not too long cause we're going to the airport"Steph says
"Uuuu I can't wait to see the theme"I say
"It's an interesting one for sure" Logan says
"You'll become a member by passing some challenges we put together"Colin says
"Some harder than others"Rose adds
"And even more extreme than others"Finn says

We get to the airport and on the plane. It didn't take long till we got to our destination. We drove to the place the event was.
"We're here"Steph says
"My god. It's a circus" I say
