New home, New life, New people

After an hour of rest I was mostly all put back together, my cuts were mostly all healed and the bruises were gone. Larena came back into the room, there was a girl about my age smiling at me from beside her.

"Aurora, this is Feori she will lead you to the girls dorm, night is comming and we need to start the preparation."

"Preporations for night? Like bed and stuff?"

"Nope! Here we prepare to fight the creatures that go bump in the night! Like succubi,rugaru , skin walkers, wendigo things like that, that go bump in the night cause we're not ready to hunt down demons yet." Feori says in a perky voice.

"What in the flying hell is going... Succubi? SKIN WALKERS?! Are you mad? Those don't exists!"

"That's just what we want the humans to think, we fight the things that go bump in the night. We go through classes in the day to train us and teach us the things and skills we will need to be the best hunters and huntresses we can be."

"You'll learn a lot more if we find in fact a vixon if you are not than we will contact the high council and act as such. We will find out tonight if you are in fact a vixon or something... Els... Because the speed in which you heal is certainly not human."

I stand up from the bed as they hand me a black cloak with a symbol of a sward and wings embroidered onto it

"Put this on you'll need it to get through to courtyard to the dorm without being seen by whatever may be out there tonight. Our barrier has been down since the lightning struck the tower a month ago so we've been having to defend ourselves manually until our maintenance man can get the barrier back up which it should be back up in a few days, but hurry girls you don't have much time till it gets real bad." she pushes us out the door and me and Feori head out into the courtyard. when we got outside the lanterns lining the pathway lite up, which brightened the courtyard except for a few spots where it looked like the lights were burnt out. With each step the ground seemed to light up with different colors as my feet connected with it.

"Cool, huh?" Feori said with a smile
"Yeah, it is" I said bashfully.
"This plot of land is deep with spiritual energy giving a glow to it when other life forms touch it."

"That's amazing!" I said with forced enthusiasm because the true is, I'm scared, scared outta my damn mind, but I have to keep pushing through and maybe I'd wake up from this horrid nightmare.

When we arrived at the dorms doors we stopped and she grabbed for the handle looking back she said in a kind voice, "everything will be alright, you'll see." Then she opens the door and we both slipped in and feori closed the doors behind us.

"What the fuck do you girls think your doing?"

I looked up to see a tall blond with a dark blue miniskirt and bright read high heals standing cross armed staring at me and feori.

"The priestess, Lorena summoned me to escort a new student to the dorms." Feori said shyly not making eye contact.

"And who is this?" She said snutily.
"This is Aurora, shes the new student or at least for tonight were waiting till tomorrow to know what she is for sure."
She gave me a dedicated look then turned back to feori. " well since her stay may be temporary you two can share a room.
Feori nodded shyly then grabbed my wrist and pulled me past her not making eye contact through an elevator and pressed the number 5.
It was silent for a while so I thought I'd break the silence. "Soo... Who what that?." I said all curiously."

"That, that was Iris, she's the women's security dorm manager, she's also Lorena's daughter. She's what we like to call the ice whore, her name Iris.;
