The Angels among us

A new beginning

When I finally came to, i could hear growling. I opened my eyes and staring down at me was that mans awful dogs. There eyes glowing red with hunger, drool dripping from its chaps. the next thing i knew one of the dogs let out a yelp as they flue off me and hit a light post with a crack and a thud. the other one was flung off me and onto the concrete. when i looked up some guy was looking down at me with one hand extended. " come with me grab my hand."

"who are you?" i asked in a daze as my vision became less blurry and more clear.

"ill explain later, just come."

I grabbed his hand and but i couldn't stand i was bleeding from the stab wound and my led had been injured from the dogs bite the wound was covered in blood. before i knew it i was out again.

I woke to the sound of voices. one was kind of familiar the other I've never herd.

"she cant stay here. we have to move her back to her people, we don't even know if she's one of us."

" but Larena, what els can we do? she cant go out on her own yet she cant even stand."

" i understand, but we cant let a human see where we live its just unethical. Demon hunters code."

" well just keep her for a night at least till she can function accordingly."

"fine, she can stay but only till she's healed."

Larena left the room and shut the door behind her. then i herd footsteps coming toward my bed. they stopped right next to the side of my bed. reluctantly i opened my eyes and looked up at the person who was next to my bed. he had dark hair with a blond tint to it his eyes were deep green. he was tall with brad shoulders. I felt my face turn red as his eyes met mine.

" hey, your awake" he said with a smile.

" hi, who are you?"

"my name is, Jace. i see your doing better, your actually awake now. you hit your head pretty hard."

"No i didn't! I was attacked! those beasts attacked me! i would have been killed or torched if that guy hadn't of shown up."

jace got up and walked into another room, i tried to listing in, i could hear a little.

"priestess the spell didn't work, she still remembers what happend."

" then this means she's not a human or at least not a normal one of them."

I sat up quickly and swing my feet around on the floor. i stood up and tryed to walk over there paniced and worried but my head feld dizzy and i fell to the ground. Jace rushed over to me at the time i hit the floor.

" are you ok?" he asked in consern

" ya im fine, just tell me, what do you mean im not normal."

" your not human. your a vexon"

"What is a vexon?" I asked confused but curious, I tried to sit up a little freaked out.

" whoa whoa whoa, not so fast, you just woke up." He put his hand on my shoulder to stop me from getting up.

I pushed him away and he fell over and slid a cupple of feet, his face looked stunned. A woman came rushing into the room after. Her face was pail white as she looked from me to Jace, who was now sitting up.

"What did you do to him!?" She said sternly trying so heard not to yell.

"I just just pushed him."

Her face got calm and she striated her doctors coat. I can't remember what there called so I think that's good for now. She was tall slender with dark brown wavy hair with a tint of red and deep green eyes.

She walked over to me with a smile that was warm and loving.

"I'm sorry for the panic I caused I just thought something horrid happend."

"My name is Lorana, I am the second in command in this Establishment."

"Hello i-im Aurora."

"This is a castle of angels a place were angels come to learn there place in this world, once they find were they fit the move up to be a gardean of earth. Each vexon is chosen at a young age and from there they chose there they own path guided by a mentor chosen by the council."
