SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING

kathy loves being back home for the holidays. since she moved 3 hours east, and rarely coming home is so nostalgic. kathy started a magazine with her friends. it's barely picking up but with the way social media is now, there is quite a few fans already. her life is taking off very well and she hopes it'll stay that way.

liam on the other hand stood. he lives the typical life, you'll say. he got a job and works as an assistant, wishing that he can finally get promoted. goes out to the bar every night and gets home tired. next day repeat.

kathy and liam left each other on bad terms. two weeks before their one year anniversary, kathy caught liam cheating. she had suspected it after the multiple texts sophia had sent him. liams excuse was 'i still love her. but i love you too.'

liam truly deeply loved kathy but he also loved sophia.

after kathy caught liam making love to someone else, she immediately left. kathy didn't come back until a week later, her needing her belongings.

'im here to pick up my things' kathy tells liam without looking him in the eyes.

'come in' liam moves to the side of the door frame and she enters.

the place is so familiar yet so foreign. she smells something fruity and kathy frowns knowing it was another womans scent.

she grabbed the extra bags and stuffed everything she had into them. in the corner kathy recognizes all of the cds that they've bought in the beginning of their relationship.

she grabs the box and carries it out. she struggles taking out 3 bags on one arm, and trying to not drop the cds. liam remains by the door, sad.

he knows that if he tries to stop her, she'll probably stay, but he decides against it.

when kathy see's her family, she's lit up with joy. arms embracing each other, her sister Maria touching Kathy's new hairstyle. he grandmas weak arms around kathy. kathy is tears up and they all head inside.

they sit on the sofas and ask about kathy's new life.

"so we've seen liam around," kathy cringes her nose. deep down something stung her heart. "he looks miserable." her sister adds and and kathy sighs.

'wouldn't think so' kathy thinks to herself. she just shrugs and smiles.

'don't want to be rude but im going to go out for a little bit' kathy stands up and her mom just nods.

she leaves the house, crossing her arms to keep herself warm. she walks a few blocks down looking for it.

coming across the store, there are wood boards on the door.

her heart sank knowing that the building is now abandon. she pout as she look up at the sign.

she walks to the door and place her hand on the handle bringing back nostalgic memories. most of them with liam.

deep down she really wants to talk to liam. kathy knows that he's been a big part of her life and it made her to what she is today. kathy can't just let him go like he was no one.

it was wrong.

she let go of the handle and took a picture of the shop not knowing what the future of the building will be. kahty walking to a local shop where it carries a yellow book, which is a book of all the residents numbers in a book.
