"How do you know you're falling in love for the first time in your life?"

The question has always pondered over Belles mind, in fact, she thinks about it most of the time. Having never 'fallen in love' herself she always wanted to know how it felt to feel yourself slowly slipping for a person, their name constantly running around in circles in her mind. She has always had a deep desire to find herself hopelessly in love with another person, Belle wasn't your normal 'popular girl', she didn't WANT to go around sleeping with half of the school, she just craved the type of love she read about in books, saw hundreds of times in movies, she wanted to feel that spark, that connection you have with a person that feels completely unbreakable.

But Belle wasn't that lucky, it felt like no matter how much effort she put i to try and charm the boy of her dreams, they would just take advantage of how she looks and completely ignore the way that she feels for them, which just makes her feel used, like a toy with children. Yet no matter how many times this happened to her she would try and try again to "fall in love" but just feel the same pain over and over again.

"How do you know that you would sacrifice everything for that love?"

The thing is, Belle felt that she needed to be in love to understand what would make someone sacrifice everything for their other half, because she never seemed to quite grasp why someone would ruin so much just for that one person. From her personal experience, it just never seemed real, that deep feeling for the other person that would make you do anything for them. Any boy shes ever liked seemed to pull some sort of dickhead move that would create a deep hatred inside of her for him rather than a deep desire.

She had read all the books, seen all the movies. Watched the boy run through the airport to catch his love and live with them forever rather than be apart. Read about the girl who sacrificed her future at Harvard just to move to LA to help pursue the love of her life with their dreams. All these tales and fake scenarios helped her escape from the pain that in her life, that's why she wants to experience everything shes told about, she wants to be able to run away from her problems, have something else to concentrate on, but she doesn't.

"How do you think they knew they wanted to be together forever when they were experiencing love for the first time?" All of a sudden she woke up from her daydream to find the nightmare that is her English teacher looming over her head, staring at her like she'd just killed a man. "What did I tell you about concentrating in class, this is what, the third time this week now?"

Belle sighed deeply and slammed her head on the desk in frustration, as much as she loved reading books and immersing herself in the story she really couldn't help but HATE this class, which was mainly at the fault of her English professor, Dr Williams. No matter how much she tried to concentrate in his class because she loved the books that they studied all the time, the excruciating pain that was caused from the boredom that is his voice just caused her to completely lose concentration and start to imagine herself in the characters places in the books.

"You need to see me after class, your falling behind." Before slamming her head on the table one last time she let out a final sigh of anger obviously directed towards Dr Williams. But this warning still didn't stop her from slipping back into Romeo and Juliet, which is what they were studying at the time, even though she had read this religiously in freshman year as it was her favourite book at the time. Two teenagers falling so deeply in love they ended their lives for each other, even though each time she reached the end she mocked the stupidity that went through there heads when they planned to stay together forever by pretending to die.

"Was it the novelty of them both falling in love for the first time which lead them to suicide?"

Slowly Belle found herself slipping into the daydream that she was in when before she was rudely interrupted by her professor and she found herself almost completely ignoring whatever rubbish he drained on about for the next 10 minutes... which almost managed to pass by in seconds because before she knew it she was being disturbed again at the end of her lesson by Dr Williams.
