"Belle I swear to GOD if your not out of that changing room in 30 seconds I'm going to come in and drag you out by your hair otherwise you're going to be late!" The muffled voice of Grace came from the locker room door which was also being pounded repeatedly by a mildly frustrated Grace.

"I'm literally ready Grace." Belle explained to her while swinging the door open and almost hitting herself in the face causing her to stumble backwards slightly. "I was just taking some time to get my makeup to look half decent that's all."

"Huh... I honestly thought someone must have distracted you... but now you say it your makeup does look better than usual. My best friends just hotter than everyone else's I guess." Grace grabbed hold of Belle and started pushing her outside and onto the field even while she was protesting that she could use her legs and walk by herself the whole way there.

Something in her mind prevented Belle from telling Grace the truth about why she took so long to get ready for cheer even though all it was was comforting a nervous classmate, it wasn't something out of the ordinary in the slightest, especially with the cheer team. Whenever someone new joined the squad they always seemed to slip into some sort of spiral before their first game and Grace was completely used to helping them cope with their nerves since they were both juniors and have been in the team since freshman year.

But there was something about that encounter with the mystery girl that Belle couldn't quite put her finger on. Something was different and she wanted to find out what. She needed to find out what.

Once the game had started Belle found herself glancing over to the girl from the changing room from time to time, somehow her eyes kept directing themselves towards her, and only her. For some reason she felt some subconscious concern for her, but that was just because she was so scared in the locker room obviously, its what a good person would do.

"Hey Belle is everything okay you seem kind of off today, almost like your distracted." She felt someone touch her shoulder and turned around to see the head cheerleader Francesca glaring at her with her arms folded, looking down on her, very visibly annoyed at Belles lack of concentration. Fran was the only senior still on the team which meant that she felt she had an extra level of control over the rest of the squad which she always used to her advantage.

"What, no. I'm fine I'm just tired you know, I've just been a bit busy with homework." Belle lied to her while trying to look around her at the soccer game going on behind her.

"I can see right through you, Beast. You're lying to me." Fran always called Belle Beast whenever she was the slightest bit annoyed at her which was obviously mimicking her name no matter how many times she tried to say it was just because she cheers like a monster. "If you dont get your act together and start cheering like a junior im gonna have to kick you off the team like every other slacker here."

"Mhmm sure thanks." Belle managed to let out a small mumble before going back to cheering and watching the game as before.

"Come back here Beasty I wasn't finished." Fran explained while pulling her back next to her. "I know your sat watching Blake in the stands, hoping he'll look at you im not blind." Belle let out a small laugh at Frans remark, obviously taking it as a joke. Blake is one of the only people that Belles has never been interested in, he's just seemed too much of an idiotic Jock in her eyes, it was just unlucky that he seemed to be sat in the exact same direction that her eyes kept wandering.

"I dont know what your talking about Fran."

"Stop lying to me, even though we broke up last week that doesn't mean you can try and make a move on him straight away, thats just rude." Francesca edged closer to her every second trying to threaten her, which seemed to be working.

"I..I really dont know what your talking about." Belle managed to stutter out of her mouth before Fran was standing directly in front of her to the point where she could feel her breath on her face.

"Shut up dingbat I know your trying to get his attention." She was starting to edge away from Fran slowly in the hopes she could find some sort of escape route.

"Fran listen to me im just tired thats all I swear-" But before Belle could finish what she was saying she heard a scream come echoing from the soccer pitch and by instinct she pushed passed Francesca to see the mystery girl sat on the floor grasping her ankle in very obvious pain. She heard a group of gasps radiate from behind her, all shocked to see her injured.

The whole of the soccer team gathered around her to check if she was alright, but there was no medic to be seen on the field. Someone on the team shouted around, "does anyone know any first aid?"

"I do!" Belle shouted from the cheer stage and started running onto the field. Sure Belle definitely was NOT qualified to do any sort of first aid but sure shes sorted out any injured people they had on the cheer team which seemed to happen pretty much every week so she might be able to help. Besides something made her want to help, but it was probably just the fact that she REALLY wanted some sort of escape from Fran and whatever wild antics about Blake she had.

By the time Belle had reached the field the whole of the team were surrounding her and the mystery girl was laying on the floor with a red face and tears in her eyes letting out the odd few groans of pain.

"Can someone go get me some ice please?" Belle said as one of the players in the team ran off to grab some to soothe the pain. "And can you please give her some space!" She shouted as the rest of the squad started to clear out of the area as Belle went to go sit next to her. "Hey there, its me again."

"You're the one from the changing room right?" The mystery girl managed to get out while wincing in pain.

"I guess im saving you twice in one day huh." She managed to let out a small smile before falling back down in pain. "Your ankle looks really swollen, im guessing thats what you hurt?" Belle asked while lifting up her ankle and resting it on her own knee to try and get the blood to flow away from it.

"The other player just kicked my ankle and it just suddenly spiked in pain, i think its broken..." She said while covering her brown eyes, obviously trying to stop herself from seeing her ankle.

"Dont worry it's definitely not broken." Belle said while letting out a small giggle. "The fact that your able to move your ankle around my guess is just that you have sprained it, it happens all the time at cheerleading and they all look just like this, it will be absolutely fine don't worry." Belle tried to reassure her while being handed the ice which she started to rest on her ankle gently.

"So i'm going to be fine?" She said while starting to sit up slowly and face Belle so they were sat close to each other now.

"Hopefully if you stay off it for a few days it should be in tip top shape within a couple of weeks, almost as if nothing happened." The mystery girl finally let out a smile back at Belle.

"Thank you for this, helping me out again." She whispered to her.

"I'm happy to help you, it's really no problem. Besides you got me out of cheerleading so I'm very happy to be here." Belle admitted while continuing to rest the girls ankle on herself, but she found herself staring at the floor, trying to hide her face which seemed to be fading into a deep red colour. "By the way I never got your name."

"Oh, Its Maya."
