As Number 11 allowed the rain to hit her face Jean looked around him, watching as people ducked their heads and scurried away at the sight of an Azure. It seemed almost unfair, he didn't know much about 11 but he still knew that she didn't deserve that kind of treatment. He looked over at her once more and watched as she slowly came to her senses and turned to him.

"So what's your name?"

Jean looked confused.

"Jean, and you?"

"Taylor."

She extended hands and shook.

Jean gave a curt nod.

"Now let's hail a cab and go."

Taylor nodded and took a look at her surroundings.

Jean tried searching for a cab but was met with only police cars.

"Hey Colonel!"

Jean looked around and saw an old time friend running towards him. Jean smiled and waved.

"Hey!"

The young man caught up and caught his breath.

"Hey, I was wondering if you needed a ride?"

Jean smiled, thank goodness.

"Yes, that would be nice."

The man stood up and turned to look at 11, after he gave her a once over he nodded and headed to the car. Jean and Taylor followed and when they got to the car Jean got in the front while Taylor took the back. Jean found it strange that there was a hearing blockade separating the front and back, which made Taylor look like a criminal.

As they began to drive away, Jean watched as Taylor stared out the window taking in the world around her as if it may be taken away from her. Jean and his colleague talked a bit, they brought up old memories and funny stories.

"Did you hear about the newest massacres?"

"Massacres?"

"Yeah, they are all Azure killings. A total of 50 have been killed in the last week, while the caretakers are found knocked out in random places."

Jean nodded. He wondered if Taylor knew about this.

"In my opinion, who ever is killing these Azures is doing the world a favor."

Jean looked at him.

"Really?"

"Yeah, the Azure are nothing but toxic superhumans, who are quite disgusting when you think about it."

Jean felt a strange anger flow through his veins.

"Stop the car."

The colleague looked confused.

"Why?"

"Because, I don't like the bullshit that you are spouting."

The man turned to him looking angry.

"So you're sticking up for them?"

Jean nodded.

"Yes I am, now stop the car."

The man shook his head and slowly pulled over. Jean went to open the door but it was locked, he turned to his colleague.

"Now you listen to me, you won't get very far, if you trust Azures, they are cunning and manipulative and before you know it they will stab you in the back."

Jean looked at him and he unlocked the doors, Jean climbed out and shut his door. He then turned to tell Taylor to get out but noticed that she already was.

"How did you know-"

Taylor smiled.

"I'm an Azure, all my senses are 100% better then yours."

Jean stood speechless, and then turned to watch the car drive away.
