The two began walking since their ride had left them, and the time they spent walking actually had some benefit. As they walked Jean began to tell about himself, things like where he grew up, what his family was like, and why he chose the military route.

"So like you were a GOOD for the people type of man right?"

Jean chuckled.

"Sure, I guess, I was more or less just fascinated with the concept."

Taylor nodded.

"I also had a relative that was in the army so that was cool."

Taylor smiled.

"So what about you?"

Taylor looked at him and chuckled.

"Well I grew up in here...and the rest is forgettable."

Jean looked at her in disbelief.

"I highly doubt that."

Taylor laughed.

"Same."

The two stopped talking and just continued on until they reached a massive building. Jean began to walk inside and turned to see Taylor take small nervous steps. He didn't think too much of it because she still went inside. The inside was just as magnificent as the outside, many people bustled around and the decoration was top tier. As they made their way to the front desk, Jean watched as Taylor slowly drew herself in with her hands in her pockets and her elbows close together, fear. Jean didn't say anything and told the front desk about their needs and the young woman lead them to an elevator. Jean kept a close eye on Taylor watching as she slowly turned into a scared dog, shaky and small. He inched closer to her and slowly placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Calm down." He whispered.

It seemed to help a tad but didn't completely stop it. The elevator slowly opened and revealed a large mahogany desk the sat in the middle of a grand room. Behind the desk sat a fat old man, he was bald despite a grey Hitler like moustache, his eyes were almost unsee able because of drooping fat, but his grey eyes were still sharp and see able. The two walked up to a few feet from his desk and stood silently.

"Well Hello Taylor, we meet again."

"H-Hello."

He looked up at her and she shrunk under his gaze.

"Still a little bitch."

Jean flinched. Taylor grimaced.

"Well, whatever, anyways, you must be Colonel Jean?"

"Yes, sir."

The man smiled.

"I see, well it's nice to meet you."

He extended his hand and Jean shook it.

"And you are here for your equipment?"

Jean nodded.

The man smiled again and slowly beckoned them to follow.

"Taylor stay right where you are and wait!"

Taylor nodded and stood nervously.

Jean was lead down a long hallway only listening to small snip its of what he was saying.

"Now Jean, what caused you to choose Number 11 as your Azure?"

"I didn't choose her."

"Oh?"

"Yeah, I watched her get into a scuffle and defused the problem, Shone was there and he thought I was the best option."

The man nodded.

"I have known Number 11 for a long time, I remember her first coming to me when she was only seven years old."

"Seven?"

"Yes, seven, you see some Azures are naturally born while other take time to become a reasonable candidate for the drug."

"And Taylor?"

"Well she was naturally born, which in the scientists field of work is an absolute blessing, for they can be trained from the very beginning."

Jean nodded.

"11 was something else, she was wild, and an absolute weapon."

"Weapon?"

The man nodded and turned into a room which was lined with weapons, he scanned the shelved and grabbed a hand gun and handed it to Jean.

"Number 11 has a gruesome past, in which her parents abused her then left her to die."

The man then handed him a large box labeled 'Ammunition'.

"Her first caretaker was an absolute disaster which resulted in a bloody massacre."

"Massacre?"

"20 caretaker casualties and 6 Azure casualties. Her next caretaker though was a gift from God, the man was smart and talented, a retired FBI agent, the presidents favorite."

Jean nodded.

"The man easily put 11 in her place and helped lead her through the war."

"She was in the war?"

"Yes, age 10."

"And where is this man?"

"Dead."

"How?"

"Well, that is still an unkown, the court said that Number 11 did it, but everyone who knew the two says other wise."

Jean nodded.

"So be careful Colonel, Number 11 is no fool."

Jean nodded.

"Good."

The two returned to the office to see Taylor all ready to go, she had new clothes which consisted of black pants a white tucked in tank top and a oversized Camoe green jacket, but the guns strapped to her thigh and the sword on her back were the most intriguing parts.

"So, now that you two are ready to leave I will give you a debriefing."

Jean nodded and Taylor looked bored.

"The defuser is used by the caretaker to help calm or knock out an Azure that is acting out of place, the defusing chemical is a syringe and is loaded like any normal gun. Use it wisely."

Jean nodded.

"And 11, try to not kill people unless Absolutely necessary."

She nodded.

"Now get out of here."

The two nodded and headed out. Taylor smiled when they exited.

"Thank God."

Jean smiled and began to think of every possible thing that could go wrong for his Azure was armed and he wasn't ready.
