They carried me into a dark cave and threw me into it, it smelt like something died in there. I looked up and dangling above my head were cages with five or more people who are slowly being released into some hot lava. They put me in a large cage with my parents and Suzi.
It seems not long ago I was in history class...
History class, the worst subject in the world. So what? The world looks different from what it was 70 years ago, nobody cares. They had trees, grass and books, I mean what's a book? I know what an iBook is, but a book? Mmmmmm... I don't know but seriously WHO CARES!? We now have apple and android houses and robot dogs. Our life must be so much better than what the old days were. Technology rules our world and I can't imagine life without it. It's great though only 5 more minutes left of school. *Ring, ring*
College is finally complete, it only took two eyeball stabbing years... Yeah not the best way to spend my life but my Mum said "it's good for you". I disagree. Don't get me wrong science and robotics were fun but everything else, ugh don't get me started. I really have enjoyed science since I was like five. I had a little science kit and room all to my self, I made glue... Well I attempted to anyway. Now I have a giant science room to myself. Science is the only thing that speaks to me, well and my Mum, Dad just yells. I have loved science so much that I have been working in this new completion/project which is making the first ever clone. It was established legal to make and own clones about three years ago. You probably wouldn't believe me but Google doesn't actually have instructions to make them, so it's taken me ages.
After years of studying I have finally just started to build the wonderful contraption that will make another Ryan Johnston. Can you just imagine it, two Ryan Johnston's roaming around the world with the same hair, eyes, personality and even possibly clothes. I think in another two weeks this will be done.
"Ryan dinner is ready." Mum yelled out. I raced downstairs to see that we were having brussel sprouts and mushroom soup. Yuck!
I told my mum so many times to not make it but she says that "it's good for your dad because he doesn't know what's in it, so now he can't have a hissy fit."
I just rolled my eyes went to the apple pantry, inserted the code for salt and vinegar chips *2397822s* and went back to my science lab. *ring, ring* It's Suzi, my girlfriend since like year 8. She has amazing black hair and small freckles on her face.
"Hey Ryan, I really miss you"
"Hey yeah, I miss you too"
"How is your clone machine coming alone?"
"Ahhh I guess it's going fine, I think maximum two more weeks"
"Oh ok cool, look sorry need to go for dinner talk tomorrow just wanted to see how you were going"
"Ok bye Suzi"

The final touches are happening right now, the machine is polished. I called my parents up to for the test and pulled a bit of hair from my brush, placing it into the purple box on the side. I closed the lid of the blue and white round clone maker.
With multiple sparks and a lot of nail biting from everyone in the room, a loud bang occurred the door of the clone opened but it was dark, no sign of anything. No squeaks of shoes or anything, nothing. The smoke was horrendous covering my whole room with it. I froze, sat down and just cried. My mum sat next to me and told me to calm down I ignored her, all my hard work was useless. While my mum was being supportive my dad was in the side giving me a sarcastic clap. I kicked the machine and walked back into my room, slamming it shut behind me. I re-read all my research over and checked if it was right, it was and there were no faults anywhere.
