Draco and Hermione waited for their kids to get off the train. The school year was over and it was time for more relaxation. Draco had planned going to the states for a small vacation. He hadn't told Hermione yet, he wanted to tell his kids and her together.

"Dear they'll be here soon don't stress." Draco wrapped his arms around Hermione's waist distracting her from stressing about her children.

Hermione smiled and looked into his eyes lovingly. "What would I do without you?"

"Stress to death probably," Draco teased.

Hermione frowned playfully, "aren't you nice."

"Cassie come on what's wrong?" The adults heard Lyra ask her sister who looked odd. Hermione and Draco separated from each other to tend to their kids.

Hermione gave her oldest daughter a soft smile, "Do you want to talk honey?"

Cassie rolled her eyes and her mum sighed knowing it was best to leave her alone for a bit. Her father however was getting worried. His little princess was acting strange.

Cassie walked in front of them quietly. Draco turned to Scorpius who shrugged. Even twin telepathy wouldn't help.

Cassie spent the whole afternoon locked up in her room. Hermione tried to get her to come out but it was useless.

Draco gave it a try. He knocked on the door, "Can I come in?"

"Go away dad." Cassie said.

"What's wrong Cassie?" Draco asked.

"Just leave!"

Draco sighed, "how about I come in and we don't have to talk. I just want you to eat."

There was a pause then the door opened. He handed her the plate of food and sat down on the bed next to her. He noticed tear stains on her cheeks and frowned.

He was definitely going to kill whoever made his daughter cry.

Hermione then knocked on the door and it willingly opened. "I sent the kids with Ron, why don't you come downstairs to talk?"

Cassie followed her parents down to the living room and sat in between them.

"What happened sweetheart?" Draco asked.

Cassie sighed bringing her knees up. "I saw James kissing Molly."

Hermione nodded, "So you do like him." She received a look fromhwr daughter, "Right not the time."

"Potter men have always been stupid honey." Draco informed.

"Draco." Hermione warned.

Draco shrugged. "Well when Ginny was your age she decided to finally stop waiting for Harry to come around and she went and dated other guys. Maybe you should try and date someone else."

Cassie was definitely surprised her dad was saying that. She turned to her mum, "did dad ever do anything stupid?"

Hermione laughed, "he still does honey. Actually one time he spent all week convincing me to go out with him and then I found him kissing another woman. I was devastated but it wasn't his fault. The other woman kissed him and I left before he pushed her away. Then he saved me from a bad person and we talked it out and we began dating."

Cassie nodded still feeling down. "I have a remedy that will make you feel so much better. I bought it yesterday but we don't have to tell your siblings now do we?" Hermione stood up and walked to the kitchen and brought back an ice cream carton and three bowls with spoons. "This will make you feel so much better I promise."

The three ate ice cream and watched the telly. Draco know his daughter would be fine. She was already laughing at some muggle comedy show but for now the announcement about their vacation would have to wait.

Sorry for the small chapter, it's a little something since I'm stressing out about choosing my classes tomorrow. I'm not back to school yet, are you?

Well anyway, would you guys like a one shot of their vacation?
