Day Three: A Floating Cup

"Madeline!"

Napalingon naman ako sa likod ko at nakita si Liliana na tumatakbo palapit sakin. She stopped in front of me and slapped my arm.

"Hey, what was that for?!" Sigaw ko sakanya. "Gaga ka! Bat di ka pumasok?" Sigaw niya pabalik. We probably looked like two idiots shouting in the corridor.

"Sinabi ko na ah, masama pakiramdam ko." I lied. She narrowed her eyes at me, not believing a thing I said.

"Oo ngaaa, nahawa ako kay anooo, kay Wade!" sabi ko sakanya, ayaw maniwala ni bugok.

"Eh wala namang sakit si Wade, nakapasok siya kahapon, what are you really hiding?" Sabi niya sakin habang nakataas kilay niya.

Wow.

"Secret muna" I smiled apologetically.

The guilt is reallyyy eating me up, we made a promise na wala kaming itatago sa isa't isa, I was the first one to break it.

Nag-ring na yung bell at pumila na kami para sa flag ceremony.

Here I am. Awkwardly standing in front of his hospital door. Kakauwi ko lang galing school, pumunta muna ako sa bahay para magpalit ng damit tapos dumeretso na ko dito.

Di ko na siya na-inform na pupunta ako ngayon, gawa nung he disappeared off to no where yesterday. Hindi ko na siya hinanap kase tinamad ako hehez.

I should probably knock. Hindi yung mukha akong siga na basta basta nalang papasok. hays, *face palm* Sinilip ko siya bintana at ngumiti nang makita ko siya sa loob.

I knocked on the door with the pattern from Frozen and sang "Elsaaa! Do you wanna build a snowmaaan" or at least I tried not to bust his eardrums.

"And this is the part where hindi kita papansinin" Sigaw niya. Pfft, At least he knew the reference and he isn't that boring.

Pumasok nalang ako sa loob, not bothering to wait for his permission. "Tumayo ka dyan, gagala tayo, dali." Utos ko sakanya. Tinaasan nya ko ng kilay at umiling.

Why does he have to be sooo complicateeed.

"Dali naaa, lakad lakad lang tayo dyan sa labas ng ospital" Sabi ko. "Ayoko nga" he said, crossing his arms. Tss, arte arte arte.

"Tara naaa, lilibre kita ng ice cream"

Swerte naman nito, minsan lang ako manlibre hOy

"Di ako nagugutom" he reasoned. Walanjo naman to, lilibre na nga eh, ayaw pa. "Tss, wag na nga" sabi ko sakanya. Tumalikod ako at naglakad papunta sa pinto.

"Eto na nga, kawawa ka naman eh baka umiyak ka pa." I looked back at him and glared. He just smirked and stood up from his chair.

"Kunyari ka pa, di mo lang ako matiis eh." Sabi ko at tinaasan siya ng isang kilay. Umupo ulit siya sa upuan "I change my mind." Sabi niya.

talking back wasn't a very good idea.

"Tangina, wag mong intayin na kaladkarin kita palabas" I said pointing a finger at him. "You wouldn't" he stated bluntly.

I smiled a little too sweetly as I stumped my way to him and grabbed his earlobe. Hinila ko siya palabas habang pinapalo niya yung kamay ko, shouting for me to let go.

Once we were out of the room, binitawan ko na ang tenga niya na medyo namumula na ngayon.

That's what you get for being so stubborn.

Omigosh I sound like a mom. Pfft, at least napalabas ko siya.

"Don't ever do that again" sabi niya habang hinahawakan ang tenga na hinila ko kanina.

"Then don't be stubborn, tara na" sabi ko at hinila ang braso niya, he shrugged my hand off.

"No touching" Sabi niya.

"Tss, mas maarte pa sa babae" I whispered to myself, rolling my eyes. Naglakad na kami palabas ng ospital. Nag-abang naman kami ng tricycle sa labas.

Nang may dumating na, sumakay na kami sa loob. "SM nga po kuya" sabi ko dun sa driver. I went through my phone, playing games that could keep me busy. Bryce was just quietly sitting there until he said something that I couldn't comprehend.

"Ha?" Tanong ko sakanya na masyadong malakas dahil narinig ako ni kuyang driver. He tilted his head to me. I thanked myself for having such brilliant ideas, I placed my phone to my ear and pretended I was talking to someone.

Brainy.

He turned his head back to the road, where his attention should have been in the first place.

"Sabi ko, akala ko ba maglalakad lang tayo sa labas ng ospital?" Sabi ni Bryce.

"Gusto ko gumala eh, tagal ko na kayang nakakulong sa bahay" sagot ko sakanya habang hawak parin yung phone sa tenga ko. Mahirap na, baka mapansin ulit ng driver.

Binayaran ko na si kuyang driver nang makarating na kami sa SM.

"Dakasi nalang pala tayo hehe, wag na ice cream" I muttered under my breath so only Bryce can hear it. I felt the need to drink milktea so, why not?

He said nothing pero naglakad nalang papasok sa mall. Dumeretso na kami sa Dakasi. Umorder ako ng dalawang Okinawa at umupo muna kami ni Bryce dun sa bakanteng upuan para intayin yung order.

Once we received our drinks, we walked out with a cup in hand. Di ko alam kung bakit pero when someone puts attention to me, their eyes widen. Until someone shouted.

"May nalutang na Dakasi!"

I was hella confused at first tapos naalala ko na. Si Bryce! Ako lang nakakakita sakanya! There's probably a floating cup of Dakasi beside me!

Ginawa ko yung unang bagay na pumasok sa isip ko. I smacked the cup out of his hand making it fall and splatter across the floor.

The precious milktea was wasted T-T

I looked back to the little crowd forming around me, some were even holding their phones up, taking a video of the whole scene.

Tengene, baka mamaya ma-Jessica Soho pa ko. "Isang milktea sa Dakasi, lumulutang!" is going to be the title lol.

"Hi fans! hehe" I nervously said and sprinted out of the mall. Sa labas ko na rin inintay si Bryce.

"That was quite a scene" Humarap ako kung saan nanggaling ang boses at nakita si Bryce, jogging up to me.

"Lucky for you, you weren't visible there." Sabi ko sabay hawi ng buhok.
