The paladins are staying on Arus for another episode because apparently there are aliens here that somehow didn't die from the fight in the first episode.

The paladins decide to go and visit the Arusians while Shiro and Pidge talk to the prisoners how somehow didn't die from their ship being destroyed.

The prisoners tell them that Shiro was forced to fight in a gladiator ring when the Galra captured him. He apparently attacked Pidge's brother, Matt. Oh right, the other people on the mission with Shiro were Pidge's brother and father. I forgot to mention that. Oops.

For some reason, Pidge isn't very happy to learn that Shiro attacked HIS brother. HE decides to look at the prisoner logs from Sendak's ship to see if they can find any clues. Then a robeast appears and makes the situation even worse.

The paladins decide to stop trying to sacrifice the Arusians and form Voltron. The robeast is very polite and waits for the transformation sequence to end before he tries to kill them.

Shiro's memory finally starts working and he has a strategy to defeat it. Keith uses the red bayard to form a sword that would've been useful in the first episode. They kill the robeast.

After that, Shiro comes up to Pidge to apologize. He says that he only attacked Matt so he wouldn't have to fight. Pidge is happy that HE saved HIS brother.

Oh, wait. Pidge is a girl. Thanks, Shiro.

Oh yeah, and Sendak is alive. Just when we had a happy ending. Give the poor pigeon a break. What is it with villans and coming back to life? Can they actually die for once and just end the series right there? No, wait. Then I get sad because for some reason I always get attached to the villans.

That definitely wasn't foreshadowing.
