#001 | SPEAKING VOICE
Aki's speaking voice is fairly low-pitched, but not particularly so. He speaks in about the midrange part of his vocal range when he's feeling happier, and more toward the bottom part of his range when he's feeling a negative emotion. His voice isn't super gravely by any means, but it's not completely smooth either.#002 | SINGING VOICE
Musically, Aki is a tenor that has the capacity to also sing some alto and perhaps some bass depending on the key. He is able to use distortion if he wants in a way that's not harmful to his voice. He has no idea at what point he acquired that skill. It just sort of came naturally to him at some point.#003 | MUSIC
Aki enjoys listening to music and he secretly enjoys singing the songs he likes, but he rarely lets anyone hear him do so. He's not really confident enough in it to sing at his full capabilities around others unless he seriously trusts them. He might sing to you, but it will be quieter and more gentle than what he does when no one is around to see or hear. His preferred genres for both listening to and singing are hard rock and metal. However, despite his lack of confidence, he's really good when he doesn't think anyone is listening.#004 | HORROR
Aki's favorite genre of video game, movie, and book is, unsurprisingly, horror. However, specifically, he actually really enjoys the genre of psychological horror.#005 | TRAUMA
Aki carries a ton of trauma from his childhood with him. The abuse he endured from both his parents, but especially his father, caused him to develop PTSD. There are certain specific things that trigger flashbacks, and then there are also certain specific things that simply trigger memories without causing a full flashback that cause him to feel negative emotions. With the latter, those emotions take only a second to switch out and something as small as one word or action could literally ruin his entire day or more, though normally he doesn't let anyone see when he's feeling bad for that long and tries to hide it.#006 | TRIGGERS
Actions that tend to trigger Aki include, but are not limited to, being yelled at; being touched by a stranger outside of a situation that it's absolutely necessary in, with occasional exceptions for his hands if he's asked first; being degraded verbally when not as a joke; being degraded sexually; witnessing verbal, emotional, mental, sexual, and/or physical abuse; being choked sexually; being hit, whipped or spanked; daddy/mommy kink; seeing his father; being called "baby" or any variant of the word. Any of these may cause him to have flashbacks or may elicit negative emotions from him, especially anger, fear, and sadness.#007 | NIGHTMARES
Aki is practically plagued by nightmares. He seldom gets a night's sleep without having them, which causes him to avoid sleeping altogether. Most of his nightmares are PTSD nightmares of what all happened to him when he was a kid, and sometimes he instead has nightmares about the horrible things he's done to so many people.#008 | BEING HELD
The only thing that sometimes lessens Aki's nightmares is being held as he sleeps by someone he loves. However, canonically he's yet to discover this as he hasn't been with anyone he truly loves.#009 | KISSES
Aki, when he has a romantic partner, really prefers soft and gentle kisses to rough ones; that is, unless they somehow manage to get him really turned on.#010 | AFFECTION
It takes a while for Aki to fully open up to someone, even if he truly loves them. But after he starts to open up to them emotionally, he'll start wanting to shower them with affection at random times as a thank you for being so trustworthy and such a good partner. Most of the time, this will consist of tons of small, sweet kisses, affectionate nuzzling, and possibly marking his partner up.#011 | SEXUALITY
Aki identifies as gay. However, he does tend to be a bit fluid for non-binary people. He's not really interested in women at all though. He is also demisexual, only feeling sexual attraction once he's bonded with someone or at least feels romantic attraction for them.#012 | PROTECTIVE
Aki is really protective of people he cares about. He likely wouldn't hesitate to give his life for anyone he cares about. If given an option to look after himself or someone he loves, he will always choose the other person, even if it's unhealthy for him.#013 | LANGUAGE
Aki is fluent in both English and German. He learned German from his childhood, where his father almost always spoke German. He learned English because it was the only language his father and mother could talk to each other in, so sometimes they would have actual conversations and he would pick up on words and phrases. When he ran away, he became fluent out of necessity. He can also speak and comprehend Japanese fluently, but he can only write in some Hiragana and Katakana; he doesn't know much Kanji.#014 | ACCENT
Aki, when he was a child, had a mixture of a Japanese accent and a German accent since those were the accents his parents both had in the house he was never allowed to leave as a child. However, over several years after he ran away, his accent became more Americanized. Small bits and pieces of the old accents still peek through sometimes, but it's rare. However, it does happen just a bit more when he's drunk. It's also more common with the German accent than the Japanese one since he heard it more.#015 | SUICIDE
If anything happened to one of Aki's loved ones, such as Sam (his half-brother), Dakota (his half-sister), or a lover he's very dedicated to, and they were to die, he wouldn't know what to do. Without immediate comfort from someone else he loves, he would almost certainly commit suicide by jumping from a high place as soon as he found out. And if he could possibly place the blame on himself, there would be no stopping him; he'd commit suicide almost immediately in the most painful way he could, probably something along the lines of stabbing himself over and over wherever wouldn't immediately kill him until he couldn't anymore and he fell over, bleeding out on the ground.
