Surprise

"Allie dear!" Alastor called as Angel held a little wrapped box.

"Y-yea?" Allie walked over hesitantly.

"Happy birthday!" Angel handed Allie the box.

Allie opened it hesitantly. She was surprised when she saw a locket.

"Let me help you." Angel grabbed the locket and helped Allie put it on.

Allie opened the locket to see Angel and Alastor on the left and her as a little kid on the right.

"Thank you!" She hugged them both.

"You're very welcome." Alastor smiled.

"It was all Al's idea." Angel chuckled.

Allie went to Charlie.

"Look what Angel and Al gave me!" Allie lifted the necklace up but not taking it off so Charlie could see.

"Can you open it?"

"Yep!" Allie made the little door open to reveal the tiny pictures inside the locket.

"How sweet." Charlie giggled.

Allie went to her room and fell asleep without taking her locket off, she wanted to die with it on, even if she was already in hell.
     The next morning, Angel and Alastor were whispering outside Allie's door.

"You ready?" Angel asked.

Allie only guessed Alastor nodded his head yes. Allie was pretending to be asleep just as they walked in.

"Allie dear, wake up!" Alastor said in a sing song tone.

"Yes...?" Allie said quietly and sat up.

Just then Angel placed a tray in her lap full of food.

"What's this about?" Allie eyed the food and looked at Alastor.

"It's breakfast in bed, dearie!" Alastor grinned.

"Enjoy." Angel kissed her head and they left.

That was weird. Allie thought this was their way to apologize for her birthday although they already bought her the locket. Thinking about it made her automatically open her locket and look at it.

"I love you guys..." Allie whispered to herself and glanced up to see her parents smiling.
