I had my tongue slightly sticking out as I slightly bit down onto it. I got the tape in the correct spots and stood up, proud of myself. I then picked the thick piece of paper with dried seeping paint on the back of it up and stuck it onto the wall right next to the one I previously made yesterday.

I looked up and smiled, my 'picture' wall? Was almost complete. It's not really a picture wall since I'm painting everything that goes on it but I have no idea what else to call it.

I went on my sock covered heel and spun around before a scream left my lips as all I saw was a tall figure in my doorway. I almost slipped but balanced myself with my desk.

"What the fuck Grayson!" I yelled and put my hand over my chest, he responded to me by chuckling "how did you even get in here?!" I stood up straight with fists on each hand to show my anger.

"Your brother let me in," he shrugged "I love your wall," he smiled and walked in to get a closer look at all the paintings on it.

"Thanks," I shot him a smile back "so why are you here?" I raised an eyebrow at him before jumping onto my bed that was covered in huge and fluffy blankets, my body basically sank into them.

"What? I can't just drop by to see my best friend every once in a while?" He tried to keep a serious face on but his lips slowly curved up into a smirk.

"Again, why are you here?" I crossed my arms at him and waited for an answer, I could tell his was lying. I know my best friend very well, I can tell when he's lying, when he's sad, when he's mad, when he's in love, and when he's actually being genuine about something.

"I know your parents are going on a business trip soon," he hesitated to say the next words that came out of his mouth, and for a good reason "you think Ethan and I could come over with a few other friends and maybe bring some beer and maybe have a small party?" He raised his eyebrows hopefully.

"Fuck. No." I simply replied before pulling my phone out and turning it on. I messed my password up once before unlocking it.

"Fuck. Yes." My older brother peeked his head out from the door way. Grayson smiled and gave me another hopeful look.

"No." I rolled my eyes and set my phone down, ready for the same argument he gives every time he wants to make a dumb decision and I tell him not to.

"Bella, who's the adult here?" He raised an eyebrow with a sly smirk on.

"Brandon, who's the smart one here?" I shot back, giving him the same look he was giving me. Grayson lightly chuckled at the sibling fight that he was witnessing.

"I am smart, just not at decision making!" He walked out from behind the wall to stand fully in the door frame with his arms crossed.

"Finally," I laughed "something we can agree on! There absolutely will NOT be a party here." I growled.

"We'll see about that little sister." He smirked before walking off "DOOR STAYS OPEN!!" he reminded. Although Grayson and Ethan have been coming over for years I've never once been able to close the doors. Why? My older brother is very overprotective and very controlling. He does trust the twins a lot more than anyone else though. Just not behind on the other side of a door!

I rolled my eyes and Grayson laughed before jumping onto the bed next to me.

"So is that the only reason you decided to come over," I raised an eyebrow at him before continuing my sentence "a party?" I asked

He made a weird 'pfshh' noise "Honestly, I just missed you," He pulled me into a side hug before nestling his face into my neck and giving me a pretty tight squeeze "the party was a plus." He laughed and pulled away.

"It's been an hour since the last time I saw you, how much could you miss one person in an hour?" I lightly laughed and he muttered something that I couldn't really understand. "Huh?" I asked

"What? Nothing." He said quickly with wide eyes. I shrugged and pulled my phone back out. He did the same except he didn't even turn his on. Odd.

"...how much could you miss one person in an hour?" She laughed the most angelic laugh my ears have ever heard.

"More than you'd know." I muttered under my breath and her beautiful brown eyes, dark flecks with light hues directed to me. I could've gotten lost in them if my own didn't widen when I realized I had said that aloud.

"Huh?" She questioned me with the slightest tilt of her head, her features very faintly scrunching with confusion. A look that would make me melt if I wasn't so panicked at the moment.

"What? Nothing." I quickly thought up. She shrugged and pulled her phone out. I followed her actions. Jeez I'm glad she didn't push it. You don't understand how awkward it would be to try and explain that to her.

I glanced up from my blank phone screen to see her amazing and almost full art wall. I couldn't help but admire every painting. I mean look at them! She's very fucking talented to say the absolute least. Each painting corresponded to the color scheme of her room, neon pink and blue, sometimes some neon purple. I know. Sounds ugly, but it's pretty fucking dope.

I couldn't deny the fact her room was so well thought out and every piece of decor or furniture matched perfectly to the other. I think she kinda based her room on the vapor wave aesthetic... or maybe the outrun one? Honestly I have no idea but it's fucking cool. Way better then my room. Mines just all messy, random things scattered around. No real aesthetic or color scheme.

"You good?" She spoke softly yet I was still startled by the sudden feeling of being brought back to reality and out of my own thoughts.

"Uh- uhm yeah." I shook my head and turned my phone on. I started scrolling through Instagram and soon enough my phone was all I could pay attention to.
