Three periods down, two to go.  It is now lunch and Samantha and I are sitting by our regular table. Just chatting about how boring our classes are.

"So.. You going to prom this year? " Samantha asked me and I shook my head no.

"But why" she whined. I huffed and faced her.

" I have no one to go with and prom is only in 2 months time" I said and looked at a unamused Samantha. She was about to tell me more about prom when the bell rang for 4th period. Thank heavens.

I said goodbye to Samantha and quickly started walking to my English class. On the way to English, a loud voice boomed throughout the hallway.

"Emma Pietersen please come down to the Principals office. " The principal said looking straight at me.

I slowly turned around and followed the principal. What did I do?  I never failed a test. I always get high marks and I never get detention.. So what are they calling me for?

Before I realized it im sitting in the Principals office.

"We are just waiting for another student Ms Pietersen" The principal told me. I gulped and nodded my head slowly. I started thinking of all different kinds of things to keep my brain occupied. My thoughts were interrupted when the door suddenly opened. I turned around to find Hunter Jackson walking into the office and sitting down in the chair next to me not even bothering to look at me.

"Nice to see you didn't take your own time getting here Mr Jackson " the principal said sarcastically.

Hunter just rolled his eyes and sunk lower into his seat.

"So" the principal began and cleared his throat " The reason why you are here is because Hunter needs a tutor for Maths and we needed a smart and bright student that would be able to put up with his behavior and so we chose you Ms Pietersen. " he said and I gasped so loudly I'm sure the pupils heard outside.

"Sir I can't....  My grades...I'm... What?"
I struggled as the words came out of my mouth. How wonderful I can't even make out a sentence.

I looked over to Hunter who had a bored expression on his face.

"Ms Pietersen...  Please just cooperate... We will give you extra credit. " The principal says and my head shot up.

"Seriously? " you asked un surely.

"Yes " He stated.

I sighed as I thought for a moment.

"Ok" i sighed and looked up "I will".
