Chapter 4

I was so confused from when Hunter left till I woke up this morning. I even had a dream about him! Its weird that he is taking over my brain. This morning I was in one of the grumpiest moods you could ever get. No it was not because of my period but because of something else that pains me. Hunter. How am I supposed to show my face in front of him when I made a fool of myself yesterday. I was so focused in my thoughts that I didn't even notice I was at school already. I sighed as I walked into the front gates of the school and up to Samantha. Wait. She's not here yet, oh well, she could be running a bit late. I looked around the parking lot to see that Hunter and Jack were already here but there was a familiar looking boy standing  next to Jack with a huge smile on his face. Where have I seen him before?... Wait! That's Josh. What is he doing there with them..

Josh looked towards me with a smile and started walking over to me after waving at Hunter and Jackson. Hunter looked up from his phone and saw me then looked back down with a evil looking smirk on his face. Weird dude.

"Hey Em! " Josh said quite cheerfully.

I wanted to roll my eyes but just gave a small smile.

"Yeah... Hey... Josh" I said and tried to focus on josh in front of me.

"You ok? " Josh asked and snapped his fingers in front of my face. I wanted to puke... Really badly... I felt sick.

"Yeah" I say quickly and grabbed the water bottle Josh handed to me. I felt relief when the nausea went down along with the water. I handed the bottle back to Josh but josh shook his head and pushed it back to me.

"You take it, you need it more than me and I'll just go buy me a new one by the vending machine" he said with a small smile.

It only clicked that I took the water he bought from the vending machine early this morning. I reached into me bag to find some money to give him for new water but when I handed him the money he took it and put it in the back pocket of my jeans.

"Its fine really Emma" he said and I turned to look at Hunter and Jackson who was now talking to some girls.

"How do you know them? " I ask Josh.

He looks to where I'm looking and smiled.

"Believe it or not but I'm Jackson's brother"

"What?! " I half screamed the question before I could stop myself.

"Yeah" he said with a quiet chuckle.

I don't know if this world is playing a sick game on me or if this is really my horrible life.

"Hey, um... Did you know that we are in the same science class? " he said and I looked bewildered at him.

We are? I didn't notice.

"Really? " I asked, even though I knew the answer to my stupid question. I mentally face palmed myself.

"Yeah... So anyway... We have a test on Friday right?

"Yeah"

"I'm not good at Science so I wanted to ask if you could help me study. Only if you want to... I know you are helping Hunter study with his maths so you have alot on your plate at the moment, but I thought that we could make like a deal or something. " He said and I nodded slowly.

"Yeah sure... Wait... How did you know I'm tutoring Hunter. I never told you that yesterday, I said I'm tutoring someone. How did you know? "I asked with a raised eyebrow.

"He told me" he said with a shrug.

"Oh"

"So... a deal? " he asked and I nodded my head.
