Third Person Point Of View
Stomping, running around, and a lot of screaming is all that you could hear from the White's house on the breezy Monday morning in January. After waking up 30 minutes past her alarm, Mae is now currently rushing to get ready. She was about to be late to her first day back at school after winter break, not a good start to the week.
"Mae, hurry up were going to be late!" Janice white called out to her daughter. You see if it were any other Monday morning Mae would already be at school probably listening to Sabrina complain about her so called annoying brother. Mae didn't have a problem with him. She rather thought he was an attractive young man, who just so happened to blow her away in the seventh grade. That's right Maeve-Imani White has had a crush on her best friends brother for almost four years now, and three out of those years he's been with his girlfriend, Amanda.
"Coming! I'm coming. Oh my god I forgot my phone, I'll be right back." Mae said as she went back inside to fetch the small electronical device. Just as she thought, it was on the counter where she had placed right before eating her breakfast. First day back to school and she was already running late, just how she wanted to start the week.
"Remember I wont be home till late tonight I have that meeting to go too. There's a twenty on the fridge for you to buy a pizza." Janice reminded her now seated daughter. Janice works for a really big designer company. You've heard of Louis Vuitton right? Well once every 6 months all of the designers and managers get together and have this meeting on how to make things better. Jan is one of the top designers they have, without her there it'll be pointless. So, putting the gear in reverse and pulling out of the driveway the Laurence ladies were on their way. Laurence is Janice's maiden name, Mae prefers it more than White considering her whole father situation.
"I know mom, thank you. Oh do you mind if Bri and Ellie come over tonight so we can study for finals?" Mae asks. Bri (Sabrina) and Ellie (Elourie) have been coming around since they were in the third grade, now they're in eleventh grade and looking at colleges. It's crazy how fast time flies when you're having fun.
"Of course, just make sure it's okay with their moms." Jan replies locking her eyes on the road. Mae smiles to herself while she yet again has to dig for her phone to text her friends. She cant keep that thing in sight for more than five minutes without losing it. The rest of the car ride was quiet and peaceful, as Mae gets out of the car she waves goodbye to her mom and turns around to meet the two anxious teens that are waiting outside for their slow friend to get to school. Its still January so there is a sheet of snow that glazes the ground and trees around her making It 10x more cold.

The bells rings indicating that the sixth and final class of the day has ended. Mae grabs all of her belongings placing them in her bag and heading out the door. She meets with Sabrina and Elourie at her locker considering they're all going home together.
That's exactly what they did, went to Ellies car and drove home. Ellie is the only one in the group that has car, let alone her drivers license. It's not that the other two don't want to take the next step into "freedom" its just that Mae is really busy with finals and dance to care about driving right now. As for Bri, she has to wait till she is 18 and can buy her own car, her parents rules. Her parents are pretty laid back but at the same time they're super strict when it comes to adulthood.
The girls are currently sitting down watching Stranger Things for the fifth time and eating pizza together. They spent hours on studying so why not.
"Finn is SO hot" Ellie gushed looking at the screen.
"Okay but Gaten is baby." Bri replied back.
"You guys are missing whos really important here. Joe Kerry. He's one hell of a mom." Mae finally answered after watching Steve hold onto Dustin and a bat while demo-dogs make their way to the gate. Stranger Things is what the girls do in any situation, if they have time that's their go to show.
"oH MY GOD WAIT!" Elourie screeched while pausing the show, earning a groan from the other two girls. "They are filming season four soon! I read somewhere that they need more people to audition. AND ITS CLOSE TO HERE! Mae!" She continued. Mae knew where this was going. which is why she spoke so soon,
"No." leaving both girls shocked.
