King Creativity x Janus [angst]

warning: mentions of scars, losing a loved one, lemme know if I need to add more-

     King Creativity and Janus fall in love with each other. The king one day slowly starts to crumble apart, and so morality forces Janus to help split them by tearing him apart with thorns during one of their dates, which causes the king to start have a slowly growing thorn tattoo starting from his heart and moving outward that pricked anyone else if they touched it. During a date, King Creativity starts to sing Royalty to Janus and, forgetting about the tattoos that were now up to his wrists, keeps offering his hand out to Janus who each time gets pricked worse and worse, causing the king to crumble more at seeing his lover hurt. Eventually, morality catches them and uses magic to pull his hand back as he offers it to Janus again, then doing it again as he offers it with the other hand, and starts trying to pull the king apart. Janus breaks down in sobs, regretfully pulling on the other end. King creativity cries in pain, screaming loudly. Janus' heart shatters at it, while Patton smiles proudly at it. Janus suddenly lets go and slams his lips against king creativity's, giving him the ability to split into 2 different beings with no memories of the split. Patton starts yelling at him that he messed it up, and banishes him to the darkest parts of the mind with the newly formed Remus while Patton takes Roman. Both sides have bad cuts on their arm, which no matter what the sides did, scarred over permanently, with both having a matching half a scar around their ring fingers that lined up perfectly.

     Fast forward to more recent times, and Janus is the only one who remembers The Split at all. Every time he sees the twins do anything at all, it always reminds him of The King. it didn't hurt as bad as it did when the wound was still fresh, but there were moments when he had to flee the scene, especially when one of the twins was hurt or crying. The events of Putting Others First drove both twins away from him, both hating his guts. Janus is left feeling so alone and hopes that maybe this was for the best, and maybe, just maybe... this means he can get his lover back, and apologize for everything and have the words he's wanted to hear back, one last time, from his king creativity.
