Third person POV
"Listen little lady, not sure if you can read, but those words carved into the desk, they're mine."
Fuyuhiko set down his book and looked up, following the trail of the muscular slammed down in front of him.
The freckled teen sighed and picked his book back up and started reading again. "Listen, your dumb ass wanted to be late, not my fault," the blonde said bluntly. "There are plenty of other seats, deal with those."
It was fuyuhiko's first day at a new school, he was an official senior, making it his last year before heading off to college.
The blond was supposed to stay and finish high school at his old school but just before the new year he was accepted in some super prestigious high school: hopes peak academy.
He didn't really care how good the school was though, he'd rather stay at his old school with Peko and his other friends, despite not showing it, he missed his friends dearly.
The boy with ecstatic pink hair smirked. "Think you're tough pretty boy?"
"Tougher than you," Fuyuhiko mumbled. He didn't realize the boy had left until he looked up from his book for a split second.
Before he went back to reading, something on his desk caught his eye. A name, carved out and written over in black ink. Kazuichi was messily written.
"Jeez," the blond sighed. "He has terrible handwriting."
🙄✌️😬
Kazuichi's POVGym.
I could care less about how many times people told me gym wasn't considered a subject, it was still my favorite.
Though if there was anything I liked about gym other than surpassing everyone else at everything, it was dodgeball.
I'm aware of how cliche and stupid it sounds, but if I'm given the opportunity to hit someone with a ball as hard as I can without getting in trouble, I'm taking that chance.
Which is pretty much why I was fired up to see that new blond kid on the opposing team. He looked scared, I'd even go far enough to say absolutely petrified.
A loud high pitched whistle made me snap my head towards coach.
"I want a nice, clean round," he boomed. Coach held his clipboard close to him, taking the attendance and writing everyone's names. "We all know the rules folks: no cheating, and no headshots!"
Coaches eyes narrowed as he stared coldly at me. I gave him a nervous laugh and scratched my nape. Though I didn't need to. Everyone in the gym knew coach adored me, I'm his star student after all, and if this blond kid wasn't aware of it before he sure would be now.
"Go!" Another high pitched squeal from the whistle, signifying that the game had started. Me and my teammates dashed towards the balls in the middle, each of us holding one and leaving 0 for the other team.
I could tell everyone had their targets by the way I saw them staring ahead, the looked furious, filled with rage. Savages even.
And that's how I liked my games.
🙄✌️😬
Third and final round.
I still haven't gotten my target.
At this point I became aware that something was extremely wrong. All I wanted to do since I got ahold of that ball was throw it at that kid's face. But just looking at him gave me immense pity for him and I hated him.
